Because Copenhagen Prague and Budapest are some of the most beautiful Cities in the World and they probably have a lot of one day visits due to the Schengen area and their proximity to other Tourist Hotspots.

これって飛行機の便数をカウントしてるのでは。フランス、イタリアは電車や車で行けちゃうからカウントされず、日本は島国だからほぼ全部カウントされる。

観光客数を競うより消費金額を競うべきですね。多い時は年間3000万人を超えていましたが、地域で問題が多かったからねえ。
観光客が通勤バスに乗ったりして、地元民が乗れなかった事がありました。あと観光地周辺の住宅に外国人観光客が侵入したり、ごみを捨てたり大変だったみたい。
オーバーツーリズムと言って世界中で問題になっていますね。
UNWTOのデータによると2023年の入国者一人当たりの消費額は日本が約¥1,500USDで、入国者数上位の国々の中ではかなり多い方でしたよ。（まだデータがない国もあるみたいですが）
やっぱり観光名所がある国がつよい
