About Bach, my opinion is honest,when you learn to hear the music you start looking for beautifullness, for a languague, something that talks to you and not just virtuosism or good and cool sounds. When I hear Bach you can hear the sounds playing, running through the piece, and making something that talks about the life.

Bach almost singlel-handedly brought the well-tempered system into existence, the very same system that we've been using to tune our instruments for almost three centuries. That's what the Well-Tempered Clavier was all about. He also elevated the art of counterpoint to its utmost peak - the art form basically dies when Bach did. Tarrega did not have nearly that much influence over the music that came after him as Bach did.

I disagree, I believe it is easier now then ever to find more music and digest it just as easily as someone sitting passively behind a radio.The dumbing down effect only effects the artists who want to be effected by it but there are good artists out there every year making good music even if it falls on deaf ears.
The problem is not bad music, the problem is Apathetic listeners.
