I've driven One And It's Outstanding. Engine Is Good With Throttle Response and The CVT is amazing with the Manual setting! I Agree Totally With Your Judgment!

In 2021, I think this is good value for money especially for a family. It has everything you need and it has Toyota’s reliability stamp on it.

I drove the previous generation Quest as a rental car. I really loved it and was quite surprised how well it drove, even better to then my Mercedes. I would purchase a new Quest over many other cars just because it will probably last longer than me with minimal maintenance.

well, I have heard so many negative comments about CVT transmissions.Your comments about Toyota Quest are really helpful. I bought mine in May 2021 and have not driven it a lot cause I have an old Toyota Corolla which I use on a daily basis.

I like the AC/climate control display, looks like it's from the old Cressida or boxie, made me feel 10 again when I oupa had a "slaan" front

I don't get why people are offended and discouraged when others refer to a Corolla as an Uber vehicle. What better endorsement can you get than from someone whos livelihood depends on a car. I have had everything from BMW M3 M5, Audi A6 etc but have had enough of piss-poor reliability and insane maintenance cost . Have a 2003 Corolla that has never ever once had a single issue and that is the reason I bought the new 2022 Corolla XR now. No more worries about reliability of stupid error codes or monthly breakdowns due to DSG gearbox, injectors, PCA valves, coils
Would recommend and buy this Quest for any loved one or family member knowing they wont have car issues ever

Thanks for sharing this. I am considering getting this quest and my concern was more the “CVT sound”, but it overall seems like a good car.

A better option is to actually get the facelift of this corrola top of the range , it will be slighlty cheaper and have some miles but will have much more features and won't be as stripped down

Got your video on my suggestions. I enjoyed you video. Would you buy a 2015 Jetta 2.0 TDI with 150 000km or would you go for a 2014 Toyota Corolla 1.8 with 140 000km. I am looking to down grade from my Kuga 2.0 AWD petrol its way to heavy on fuel, Average 12.5L/100km at the moment.
    Your input will be appreciated.

Personally I still find it abit to vanilla and at that price point....wow there are some seriously nice 2nd hand very low kms rides that offer so much more...I think the hatch looks much better...I have seen a couple leaks for the "GR" version...all wheel drive and Turbo (in hatch form) around 200kw...but the price will be around Golf GTI $$$...
They were reports saying 2023 which seems a lifetime away....

In my view, Toyota have always been boring reliable, there motors have proven over the years it is some of the best, would it be a car a buy for myself never, simply for the fact Toyota always over price there brands as long as i can remember, you are missong so much tech on it, if Toyota have added it in and added it in properly, it will kill all the german markets right away, so in a lot of ways they are there only enemy and the reason people hate Toyota so much, i am with your dad Toyota sucks
