Re: drainage - there was residual water in the tank after it was “emptied.” Won’t that residual water cause mold etc to grow during storage? I have this and LOVE it. But am always concerned about storage
Loved my Helio LX. The welds are extremely well done. However, it failed me just earlier today. The welded plastic fill port threads broke by itself. Sadly, it failed when I needed it the most due to a water shortage. Hopefully the redesigned Helio with the redesigned fill port wouldn't have the same issue. Looking forward to getting one as a replacement. Loved your sleeping pads though.
This is so beautiful! ❤️ I'm planning my first ever solo camping trip with my fiancé (other times I was little on a school trip and the second time I slept in a car 😅) and this looks like an absolute must along with the shower! I'm sold!
Hi there! Is the top valve being kept open like the video is showing? If so, shoot us an email at journey@nemoequipment.com and one of our customer service guides can troubleshoot with you further!
Hi Lea! You can actually get a lot of the moisture out by emptying the tank as shown at 4:08 , and then by leaving the valves open and setting it out in the sun. We always recommend valves left open for storage as well.

I take my Helio shower camping, backpacking, and to the beach. Wish this video was taken in a realistic outdoor setting. Showing me how to fill it from a sink is asinine.
Fill it at home and bring it with should last at least a weekend if you conserve it. Just took mine dispersed camping from a Friday morning to sunday afternoon and through washing dishes, cleaning the grittle, and washing faces/hair I left on Sunday with about a 1/5th of the water left.
@@johndonovan5981I just bought one and also plan to fill it from a sink and transport it for car camping. I want it for dishes and maybe a shower (I mountain bike). My fear is that plug seam pretty flimsy and might pop open spilling water all over the inside of my SUV. Di you run into any issues transporting it full? I wish they would have made a twist to shut (with threads) valve instead of simply a pressure cap. Seams like a pretty simple design change.

I recently purchased one and was super excited to use on my camping trip. I followed the instructions and nothing came out of the hose 😞

Thank you for your response. Yes it is. I sent an email to the email you provided and I am waiting to hear back ☺️
Can this be used for drinking water?
I would have been sold on this product had there been a way to dry to inside....I would think mold would grow in such a dark enclosed container.

There’s a port that says “leave open when not in use”. Is this when it’s stored? Or when it’s filled with water, waiting for it to be used?
Hi there! We recommend leaving that valve open with it's stored, to help keep that foot pump foam fresh and dry if water does get in there.
When did this come out? I have the previous model.
Don’t wanna show the fight getting that thing back in the bag?
How does on fill this from a river?
Having the same issue with the hose spray not working. And I’m supposed to be going camping tomorrow :(

I wish the seal would be more sturdy in order to transport the water with you in your vehicle to your destination.
That's cool! Great design.
Break camp ??? In australia we call it "pack up camp "
Hate this thing, can never get the valve to close
Fix the water leak

this demo should show use in the field, there are no sinks to use at campsites. big fail. great product though
