favorite youtuber, everything you film is real. it’s the life of a one man show, it’s always adapt and overcome. love it
Thanks buddy!
Hell of a good job!👍
I just finished mine,Inspector and plans call for boxed beam all the way around using stirrups every 18".Cost me a fortune, and overkill.Engineers running scared at my expense.30x50 mono pour.Nice job.
Awesome!
Lookin’ mighty fine!
That ain’t goin’ nowhere’s! Pouring on bedrock with rebar and mesh, I suspect it’ll be there long after the garage is dust!
Nice a nice, Boss!
💯 for sure
lol you got me saying that every morning "Back on site..........."
😆 Awesome!
Looking good and nothing went wrong Thanks for sharing Mike 👍
Thanks Frank Yes smooth operation
Carl looks like he's good with the world right now.
😆
Yes I am. I work hard and the enjoy the Family in the end!! I let nothing get in my way, not even the DirtBoss!!
@@carlj.rivera5132 😳💪🏼💯🤘
Always a good feeling when the concrete is laid out and level. Now some time with the trowels and were all done. Going to be nice to see the building moved over and set on the blocks.
Yes indeed
Love your videos, keep ‘em comping, cause of you I bought a mini excavator
Awesome good luck
Thanks for describing what and how you are doing it love seeing the different ways ppl do the work. 👍
Thanks
A job well done Dirt Boss, one of the best in the business for quality.
Thank you buddy nice to see you back!
@@DIRT-BOSS….I appreciate you noticing, I got banned by youtube again.
SO glad to see you doing what you do so well and NOT WHERE THE DEVIL SAYS GOODNIGHT! "Nice" as 'your usual' with explanation like it was scripted! Thank you BIG GUY and HUGS for the family! Thank you! Sonny
Thanks buddy
This is the first time I have seen plastic put under neath one of your Alaskan slab
If it's on the print it ships
Nicey nice Mike !!!! 😎💪
Not often the Backhoe makes an appearance, always good to see one or being used !!
Carl seems quite a character to work with too !!!
For sure
Gm Mikey!
Good morning buddy
Nice work Mike!!! As usual,,,,,, haha.
Great crew on the pour today!!! Sometimes these are just easy diggin, level soil and quick work!! This one had a rather challenging dig, but with the crew today getting the final grade perfect was easy and now that garage will live on and the homeowner will have room to move around,,,,,,. It’s rather tight down there until that garage gets moved!!
Exactly
As always great video 👍🇦🇺
Thanks
Nice job Mike, not fun working in bedrock. Nice that’s it cover and gone bye bye 😉 going to be pretty neat to see that garage move. Side of the mountain is sounding “very interesting “ !! 👍🇺🇸
Thanks
Awesome job thanks for sharing Dirt Boss
Thanks Don
Awesome job as usual Mike🤙
Heck yeah bud We got some decent weather this week!
I wish you guys were closer to my location! How does this slab do in freezing climates. Where I live there is a 30 inch minimum frost depth for foundations. With this being NY I know you have winter climate obviously. This monolithic slab does just fine with temperature fluctuations and not affected by not having a frost depth? Thank you. My build site is on hard rock and think we need to do a monolithic slab.
Yes that's why they call them Alaskan slabs
Carl we’ve been knowing Mike is awesome 😎!!!!! Great to see that everything went smoothly on the pour!!! Good luck 🍀 on the mountain side job I’m afraid of hearing what solution the minds came up with to rectify the situation over there!!?????
Yes sir thanks
After running a skid steers and minis hoping in a backhoe you realize how obsolete they are these days. Use to dig whole foundations with them years ago. Looks good man.
Yeah for sure but it is nice just to have one
Good job boss 😎👍
Thanks
Mikey Mike.....Man, That Vibra-Screed makes quick work of that mud.
Hey, I understand no Go Pros Were Killed in the making of this particular video?
Nicey Nice!!!
Lol they had survived this one!!
Nice job!!👍💪
Thanks buddy
Nice job ! I like how u explain and teach most channels dont do that, quick question did u use compactor
Yes plate complactor.. although with round stone not necessary but I always do.
Thanks!!
Was it washed round or does it have fines
need to build next garage project with SLAB MASTER Form by ISO-SLAB
whats the purpose of the blue plastic? is that something thats needed for bigger pours?
Moisture barrier
Dirt Boss..If that project was easy digging what would be a ball park estimate from start to finish of the slab? I'm way outside your working area but just curious! Thank you
I wish I could bud but I don't talk moolah on the internet 😁
@@DIRT-BOSS I understand, it can cause a lot of unneeded controversy! Keep up the good work DB!
@@alittlebitofeverything5090 thanks man
Back on site
Yeah buddy
Nice work Mike. Are you able to keep your guys busy in the winter?
Some winters but soon as things get over a foot of frost time to quit
Question. Is it recommended to have tile drainage around an alaskan slab?
You could do that for sure
What does something like this cost to be done. I'm looking at doing a 24X36 but I want a 6 inch center. Ground is all sand
👍👍
💪🏼
hi did you say this was 6" concrete slab.
Yes center
In my experience excavating, the wire doesn't really do anything. Just my opinion, your experiences may vary because your ground is probably WAY different then our gumbo that heaves and moves so much especially with the freeze and thaw cycles.
Well if you ever jackhammered out a slab with wire or without wire you would know the difference very quickly in my experiences
@@DIRT-BOSS Guess that's the difference between sitting in a 40,000lb machine and not.
Back ooonn site
Yes sir
I have been watching your videos for a while why do you put stone in the trench ands on the top of the sub base can’t you just put plastic down then concrete it out
This particular one had stone all under the haunch and around it That's the way it was designed.. but normally we just put it on the ground and then build up with stone
Not the kind of gravel to use , that doesn't compact
I would disagree that type of stone holds no pressure and that is what was on the print hola! I
Let's Go Brandon!

They afraid of the truth I can stomach it they throwing up
