how do you reduce laddering ? If I use the anchor peg, I have no ladders, without it I do. The Flexi loom has no anchor peg as do many other looms. how do you make it work with no anchor peg?
Thank you! Switching from the knit stitch to the purl stitch worked! No other videos I looked at suggested this and I was getting really discouraged from my project but your advice worked great! I also realized that the yarn I was using was part of the problem because it has no elasticity so it kept tightening up no matter how loose I would wrap it but with the purl stitch I was able to control the tightness WAY better!!! ☺
the stitches on my loomed baby blanket keep loosening every time they use it. now there are a lot of loops hanging off of it everywhere. What did I do wrong?
I recently lost both of my yarn needles at my house and haven't found them yet. I came up with the solution of using a crochet hook to get my cozy that I'm working on off the loom and now I'm trying to figure out how close it off with said crochet needle. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I have made several hats and they all end up with a few large holes in them, it is like I am skipping a stitch. Should I end on the same peg every time? I am always one peg behind with each roll. Help Please! Thank you.
Hi, okay when you cut off to switch color of yarn after brim, does the strands of yarn have to be lined up, (the outer peg ones with the one's I cut off?) Mine are not and before I mess up if I didn't already, wanted to ask. Thanks in advance.
Ive had to restart on this loom aboud 10 times. I've started so loose the yarn practically won't stay on the frame. But by row 4 its so tight, i can't get the hook over the nob. If I hold the yarn looser as I go over, the yarn goes with the loop. If I pull the new loop loose, it tightens the previous loop. Every instruction shows exactly what I'm doing, but theirs is loose. I'm so frustrated and this is the only video that addresses any issue. Ive tried to watch about 5 videos and non talk about this, most don't even seem to get to the damned stitch. Did I just waste $50
Help!! I am using a long 24 pair peg loom and doing the Double Knit Cast On to make a Cozy Hooded Scarf. My problem.... As I get to ten or so rows, the loom starts bending until it's impossible to knit any more.
For future readers: pull the loop towards you when looping over, do this from the end to the middle inwards. You'll start with a really loose loop at the end but by the time you get to the middle the tension will be normal. If you do a few rows of this you will only need to tighten the first 3 loops going forward.
HI I have just started loom knitting I almost finished a hat but my casting off teqnique didn't work and now I have got 7 stsitches off the loom and I am not sure how to pick them up I also seem to have trouble getting my tension wrong its either to tight or not tight enough also the only stitch I can to is knit I would love to learn others I have osteoarthritis in my hands and what Items can I make just using knit I have cast on another loop as I am trying to make a hat for my dad and the first one the one I have made the mistake is to small for his in need of help urgently thanks.
Hey I filled out a request form last week and I didn't get any reply after that and I'm wondering what's going on and I really want to start making hats. It would really help if you can help me with this problem.
Can you please help me. I have a small loom like the one your holding in the video , I've been making hats on it but every time I take one off ties it off etc the hat looks like a hat but when you put it on its extremely loose it just feels loose in your hand, I've tried tightening my stitches and loosening them but it still comes out the same! Please help
I don’t know if it’s right or not but I just put it on without the wrap and continue normally it kinda disappears in the end and works out for me. Don’t take this as advice I’m no professional
How about this question, perhaps you can help. I just ordered a new loom, sent to me in the mail, lousy packaging and it's bent just a few millimeters in the middle, meaning it comes together in the middle like it was squashed. Is it okay to somehow brace it do the side pull apart? Is there a way to do this and make it permanent? Perhaps some folks have done this by winding their yarns too tight also and I wonder what they do about it.
I'm trying to knit a hat for someone and It turned into a complete disaster by getting in complete knots and I can't untangle it at all I need your help desparately
Taylor Jackson loomahat has videos for this. if you dropped a stitch u can remount it. it depends on where in project it happens. has she talked about ewrap one easy way to avoid all stitches falling during wrap is double ewrap and knit as you go. ie every other.peg knit and continue but ewrap is very loose. go to loomahat her patterns, tutorials and many other things she is perfect. even if you are involved with this young ladies cause loomahat teaches many stitches that you can use in any project. her favorite knit stitch is uwrap and it is easy.
I the company is defunct. The website has expired and there hasn't been anything posted to the Facebook page since 2016. It's a shame. I wanted to give her a tip on making the hats.
Understand, she is only trying to gain numbers. She is not here to help fix or answer questions in a timely manner. There are professional loom knitters on TH-cam. Loomahat is a wonderful loom knitter and instructional Tuber.
debbi hernandez loomahat has remounting stitches like when u make a,brim for your hat. if you want 2" brim and 8 stitches gives that 2" but a folded up brim you would knit 16 and remount those cast ons and then loop over now its 2" and begin the hat stitch you have planned
There is an easy fix don't pull it so darn tight, thats the whole problem your just pulling on the yarn to hard. lol I find this funny it just takes practice as with anything your learning.

Great video! Threading your yarn through a straw or pen with the "guts" taken out and using it as a stylus also helps with tension for me

I find if I knit the last stitch after the ewrap the yarn won't fall off.
THANK YOU. Only informative video about the yarn being so tight even though I’ve been loosening them lol

I am knitting an afghan on a wood loom but when I check my work, I noticed that there are holes in a few places. Can I fix this?
What do you do if you're knitting and the yarn breaks?
What do you do when you miss wrapping a peg and you are too far into the project?
start yelling incoherent expletives.
I don’t know if it’s right or not but I just put it on without the wrap and continue normally it kinda disappears in the end and works out for me. Don’t take this as advice I’m no professional

I'd put this into really hot water to soften the plastic some and then slowly bend it back open.
Thanks...a year later................lol!
LindieLee sorry for helping. geez.
Is there a round loom that is bigger than 11 1/2 inches?
Try flexee loom links.
Please tell me how to attach new yarn
Hi! I am so sorry! What is your first name? I am really sorry I haven't gotten back to you! :(

I'm trying to knit a hat for someone and It turned into a complete disaster by getting in complete knots and I can't untangle it at all I need your help desparately
Go to TH-cam and look for loomahat.com. She has lots of videos our there to show you how to make hats.
If the yarn breaks, simply find the end that broke off and tie a knot to the broken end and keep on knitting, That should work!
i accidently took the yarn off my peg while I was knitting how do i fix it😩

My plastic loom has a broken peg & I am in the middle of a scarf. Does anyone have a video on how to transfer it to a new loom without destroying it?
debbi hernandez loomahat has remounting stitches like when u make a,brim for your hat. if you want 2" brim and 8 stitches gives that 2" but a folded up brim you would knit 16 and remount those cast ons and then loop over now its 2" and begin the hat stitch you have planned
