I have learned more from this video than from other creators videos. Sure I could just copy and paste some random person build but I wouldn't understand why or how that build works. This video helps me understand how to build freyna to fit my playstyle. Thank you for helping the community learn the mechanics of the game.

@@Mar10K0ng you need to watch more videos. This is really just a talk with no demonstration. Where is the lab? Where is the boss fight? I have no idea why he doesn't rank any of these mods up or get potatoes, they're all free. You can craft like 5 of them with just a couple hours of investment.. the actual crafting takes a while but the grinding only takes a couple hours. This build is extremely weak for Freyna. And duration is huge for ult based builds for bossing because you can increase your magazine size using mods on your mounted weapon. Grab a pistol for a dtat stick and slap larger mag, larger max ammo, and fire rate on it. This is a very bare bones video that is missing a LOT of details despite the information all being out there now.
@michaelklein3244 F2P just means that we grind everything. I.e. we do not buy any boosters, descendants or items of convenience (energy activators or crystallization catalysts) as these can be farmed within the game. Skins cannot be grinded, you have to buy them, but they have no impact no builds or weapons.
Definitely will do for end game, but for most of the game considering the limited mod capacity, I find that it gimps the weapon I'm choosing. Definitely will add it in for the end game style though, cheers for the info

Definitely give it a go. I heavily favour the boss killer over the DoT (as I don't like to use Freyna in field) but both are decent enough for basic hard mode stuff
If you have seen SongsOfRaze damage test video the strongest combo he found was General Mobbing - Tech Master/ Tech Specialist Colossi - Toxic Specialist/Tech Specialist Love the work you guys do to go in depth with these builds 👍

Why is this a good build. Freyna is all about tankiness and building around her poison. Just put the 5 mods that makes her hit last and stay the most on and thats it. I have a freyna with just 60 capacity on mods and im a beast freyna. Just farm a little bit for her component sets and her gun. Thats all you need.
@Joker-mt9tt this is her old build fyi before changes were made to switch from defense to HP. This was what we used before that shift. Nowadays people use pretty much a standard build for normal mode. For end game content I'm waiting for ultimate Freyna to make any changes. So feel free to more or less ignore this as it will be reworked anyway
So if you have expanded mag, weapon tuning, fire rate up and bullet rain on whatever gun you have mounted it will apply to the ult. Got ammo up to 80 and it shot pretty fast to the point I needed to add duration in order to shoot all the bullets. Looks like damage only comes from skill power. The rate of fire and recoil seem to carry over from sharp precision shot. I use MP accelerant for duration to help with the mp loss from mp conversion; along with nimble fingers cooldown is at 41 seconds, skill extension only needed if you don't put fire rate up/bullet rain on the weapon. Front lines and skill concentration DO raise the crit damage on the ult, as well as skill insight raising the crit rate it seems like.

Maximize power is at the cost of cooldown so I was avoiding that haha. Skill simplification is good but it's more of the DoT side for end game. Definitely going to see how I can structure it into the mods (may drop it for duration and range though for the farming style, will see) Thank you very much for giving my content a chance though. I'm just happy to teach what I know as I progress through the game. F2P can be a very different journey so I like to show that perspective in my work.
@@RealAsianRobot I currently use skill simplification and it also increases the impact of her 4 I'm currently hitting at 100k and 300k on crit with that on without it damage drops to around 95k and 195k on crit also with python's ability that actually increases the dot Also being f2p is a grind but it's worth the effort keep it up 🙃 If u have the contagion mod that helps with mobbing
What I’ve noticed is the weapons ave synergy with the tech weapons. Mesa who I love to whip rooms with. I had increased fire rate mods and crit. Now they did make her 4 its own weapon to mod. I figured since it worked with Gley why not Frey.

You need to use a handgun with firing frenzy, fire rate up, concentrate support ammo and expand weapon charge. I got 85 rounds in her ult and ammo isn't spent for the first 3 seconds

You should uhh.. make videos of like 10 minutes of game play on each descendant seperately for ud who dont really know what they do or look like in the field. Been looking for raw gameplay on everyone in all differebt zones for 2 weeks to get a feel of who i may want to go unlock or buy and play lol but 99% of all videos are long builds. We want gameplay videos to watch while we are at work ir anywhere we cant play!
Not sure if this is intended but when I had my python out, and then triggered her lmg skill, I noticed the fire rate of her lmg matched the fire rate of my smg. Huge dps jump
For Hard Mode you will need to go beyond this. This is just the basics, also we have changed a few things because now HP is better than outright defense. So that's what we are doing on stream
I don't know why so many people also youtubers putting her in D tier and say she is not good... For me she is S tier for solo/team boss fight. She also good for add clear.
I've got 2 energy activators and I think I'll spend one on Bunny, I need a proper farming descendant. I'm not sure what to use the second one on but some guides I've read say to use it on a gun. 🤷 Also, I got really lucky a few days ago opening my old amorphous materials that I got through the story. I scored six catalyst blueprints and got one whole catalyst near the end of the game. So my Bunny technically has seven slots I can half the capacity on. I haven't done anything yet as I've been farming the kuiper mine in Sterile Land for a few days with other players. I reached just over a million kuiper including the dupe mods I dismantled. So I'm not sure if one million will be enough to get Bunny ready for hard farming, I might have to continue farming that spot.
Im very curious as to why thry decided to give Freyna the next ultimate form. The beginning of these games are absokutely vital and everything is donr with intention. I think we are about to see a new mod for her that turns her into a beast or i would hope so fpr the game's sake
Freyna's ult seems to somewhat scale with the weapon she had equipped while ulting. Feel free to try it in "the Lab" adding firerate and increased magazine size are the most noticable changes but i dno what else the ult inherits.
@Simonngo87 tonfa mod is from later on in the storyline. I have a guide on how to find and farm anything 😁👍. It is highly recommended that you watch that as it will help you learn how to get anything in the game. Other than that, take note that melee mods should be picked based on whether you like the attack style. Tonfa is just my preference, you can use Shortsword, Shock Punch, Kick, etc. There are no real limits 😁👍
Yeah, this vid was made long before that. With newly updated knowledge. We have adjusted most builds for about 16k defense (just using Spear & Shield or Iron Defense) and then the rest of the survival goes into HP. I will adjust future builds to meet this need, but I am currently working on the builds for ultimate descendants instead
Neurotoxin is sick for Colossi kills, pair it with some crit chance and dmg and u gonna kill half of them solo in under 1 min. The builds are not newbie friendly tho😅
Fallen Hope is the best ultimate weapon for Freyna. It didn't need extra material. Just farm the blueprint part (I know rng is pain in the ass). Just mod it with toxic
Does anything else affect it though? I couldn't seem to get the damage itself to increase. So that's the only downside. I will probably add the increase bullets mod later, but I'm trying to think of whether I can boost her overall DPS with it. Thanks for the info though 😁👍
@dannyallott Thank you! These two I was aware of, but I'm hoping more on increasing the damage per bullet in alternative ways other than skill power. Fire rate is for sure helpful (for a quick mag dump) but I'm just wondering if any other factors affect it. I wasn't noticing much of a damage difference between my Tamer and Nazeistras, but I plan on checking more in depth
@racoonboyo4607 It was done multiple times on livestream prior to this video, but we may update vids soon because everyone has shifted toward hp vs defense. That said, we highly recommend watching the livestreams to learn more.
Depends on the build tbh, for Boss Killer, Focus on Tech and Focus on Toxic are a bit better because of CDR (Cooldown Reduction). But for end game, I will definitely be testing these out to find the best combo
MP Conversion to lower cooldown more than nimble fingers but you lose some mp.. it's the highest cooldown I know of. With both will cut you down in half.
@@RealAsianRobot honestly to have the lot back so fast it’s worth it. But you can use time distribution instead for an additional 15% cooldown if not. Lower cost too
You need to advance it beyond this level, but take note that there has been a shift from the 'defense' stat over to the 'hp' stat instead. As per recent discoveries, the ideal of 32k (and now after further testing) 24k defense is much more suitable for survival. So these builds will be adjusted in the near future. An end-game Freyna bossing build is planned but you need the Python to really increase her ultimate's abilities.

@@bizzy511 I'll have to be honest. The grind is a big part of the game and as you grind characters you will find one you like, so honestly, don't sweat too much about using resources. You will find a lot as you go along, but if you're really that worried. Prioritize only farming Descendants and try them all out. Do not focus on progress Hard Mode. For hard mode progress, you need to commit to a character

@@bizzy511 That's why, take your time. If you're not sure yet, just keep building descendants, find the one you want to invest in and then go all in, because in hard mode, everything needs at least 4 crystallization catalysts and an energy activator. So prepare accordingly.
This is untrue, you can still get more reduction well past 50k. However the amount of defense you need to get it is pretty high. We are currently adjusting builds for the new ideal of 32k defense. You are welcome to go for 25k if you wish.
@sil3ntprophet yeah, the correct wording is diminishing returns. We actually find a value of 32k more suitable. You are welcome to try for yourself. It is much easier to reach and does not drastically affect the end game amount of hp
Gameplay is on my streams like everyday :). I don't think people need that to decide on a good build because a short gameplay segment can make anything look good, I'd rather get the info out to people. @raffay919 F2P players take longer to farm activators and catalysts. Hence I have constructed a build that has worked for me without them. I hope this clarifies the point.
Focus on Tech and Toxic are both used for the End Game style as they heavily play into Freyna's Boss Killer. They both extremely good and I highly recommend them, but they're more for gearing toward the end game.

Add a fire rate mod and rounds per mag mod to the weapon you are wielding before activating your ult. My freyna’s ult has 70 rounds

You can use ammo mods on a handgun as a stack stick to increase the number of rounds for her 4

I was gonna main her, but then I unlocked Gley and then discovered how tanky she is. Never looked back

It won't, the 4th ability is crucial for bossing. You cannot boss without it

Those two are known for sure 😁👍. I'm just trying to squeeze extra damage into it, but so far it doesn't appear to inherit other things
The sub stats on the weapons applies as well. Firing fiesta works and also analysis matter.

@Simonngo87 tonfa mod is from later on in the storyline.
I have a guide on how to find and farm anything 😁👍. It is highly recommended that you watch that as it will help you learn how to get anything in the game.
Other than that, take note that melee mods should be picked based on whether you like the attack style.
Tonfa is just my preference, you can use Shortsword, Shock Punch, Kick, etc. There are no real limits 😁👍

Yeah, this vid was made long before that. With newly updated knowledge.
We have adjusted most builds for about 16k defense (just using Spear & Shield or Iron Defense) and then the rest of the survival goes into HP.
I will adjust future builds to meet this need, but I am currently working on the builds for ultimate descendants instead

Neurotoxin is sick for Colossi kills, pair it with some crit chance and dmg and u gonna kill half of them solo in under 1 min. The builds are not newbie friendly tho😅
Fallen Hope is the best ultimate weapon for Freyna. It didn't need extra material. Just farm the blueprint part (I know rng is pain in the ass). Just mod it with toxic

if your gun has an increased bullets mod then her 4 will have extra bullets
Does anything else affect it though? I couldn't seem to get the damage itself to increase. So that's the only downside. I will probably add the increase bullets mod later, but I'm trying to think of whether I can boost her overall DPS with it.

@dannyallott Thank you! These two I was aware of, but I'm hoping more on increasing the damage per bullet in alternative ways other than skill power. Fire rate is for sure helpful (for a quick mag dump) but I'm just wondering if any other factors affect it. I wasn't noticing much of a damage difference between my Tamer and Nazeistras, but I plan on checking more in depth

@racoonboyo4607 It was done multiple times on livestream prior to this video, but we may update vids soon because everyone has shifted toward hp vs defense.
That said, we highly recommend watching the livestreams to learn more.

Depends on the build tbh, for Boss Killer, Focus on Tech and Focus on Toxic are a bit better because of CDR (Cooldown Reduction). But for end game, I will definitely be testing these out to find the best combo
MP Conversion to lower cooldown more than nimble fingers but you lose some mp.. it's the highest cooldown I know of. With both will cut you down in half.

@@RealAsianRobot honestly to have the lot back so fast it’s worth it. But you can use time distribution instead for an additional 15% cooldown if not. Lower cost too
Can this build do hard colossus?
You need to advance it beyond this level, but take note that there has been a shift from the 'defense' stat over to the 'hp' stat instead. As per recent discoveries, the ideal of 32k (and now after further testing) 24k defense is much more suitable for survival. So these builds will be adjusted in the near future.
An end-game Freyna bossing build is planned but you need the Python to really increase her ultimate's abilities.
@@RealAsianRobot thank you. I don’t wanna use up what little resources I have, because I haven’t unlocked all the characters yet. I don’t want to use up precious materials and not have any left when I find a character I really like. Too much of a grind for me. Any other good low investment builds you would recommend?
@@bizzy511 I'll have to be honest. The grind is a big part of the game and as you grind characters you will find one you like, so honestly, don't sweat too much about using resources. You will find a lot as you go along, but if you're really that worried. Prioritize only farming Descendants and try them all out. Do not focus on progress Hard Mode. For hard mode progress, you need to commit to a character
@@RealAsianRobot I understand what you're saying man, but some of the materials needed, I think are like 3% chance. It definitely seems like it would take a lot of time. I'll take your advice and just take my time and unlock descendants as I go along. Thank you for your videos.
@@bizzy511 That's why, take your time. If you're not sure yet, just keep building descendants, find the one you want to invest in and then go all in, because in hard mode, everything needs at least 4 crystallization catalysts and an energy activator. So prepare accordingly.
Defense caps pretty much around 25K.
This is untrue, you can still get more reduction well past 50k. However the amount of defense you need to get it is pretty high.
We are currently adjusting builds for the new ideal of 32k defense.
You are welcome to go for 25k if you wish.

We actually find a value of 32k more suitable. You are welcome to try for yourself. It is much easier to reach and does not drastically affect the end game amount of hp
I wouldn't call this FTP Build, i would call it LAZY Build.

@raffay919 F2P players take longer to farm activators and catalysts.
Hence I have constructed a build that has worked for me without them.
I hope this clarifies the point.

Focus on Tech and Toxic are both used for the End Game style as they heavily play into Freyna's Boss Killer. They both extremely good and I highly recommend them, but they're more for gearing toward the end game.
