Negitive....They most certainly do NOT fit like older Gringos. They are small and the the chin guard space is now taken up by a thick uncomfortable piece of plastic.
I bought the gloss black version, very nice helmet, but after wearing about a dozen times the black finish wore through to the white base colour, I contacted the supplier above who confirmed that it is very common with Biltwell helmets. Probably worth waiting for special offers if you are thinking of purchasing.
It's a beautiful looking helmet for sure but there is a kind of a massive down side to it. The noise. It's a very and I mean, very noisy helmet, especially when closed. The visor doesn't quite fit to a tight place due to the bronze pin, and it allows air to pass through the bottom of the visor, resulting in a high hissing wind noise. The head fit is quite nice, maybe a bit too tight compared to the previous models.
Since the old Gringo ECE 22.05 fit me *perfectly* in a medium (the largest size for that shell size, so it really looks as slim as it can be), I'm worried these new ones won't fit as well and will look larger on me since medium is now the smallest size for its particular shell.
Hey guys, short question to the differences between gringo S and SV: Do they have the same Visor so i could use a gringoS visor on the SV? I m kinda curious :)
I bought a grey Biltwell Gringo from UR 2 year back. Lovely lid and for the price, excellent bang for buck... BAR one thing! The Double D buckle is up near my ear ffs!! Very odd (so it quickly go relegated to the back of the cupboard). It was 'On Sale' from UR, and not for the first time when I've purchased an item from UR that was 'On Sale' there's been something wrong, or 'not quite right' with the item!! I think you put 'B' grade stock in your sales, so moving forward I won't be buying Sale items from you any more! The quality of your vids is still very good 👍
@@UrbanRiderlondon Thank you for responding Iza, no I did not return the helmet as I had already worn it (and I''m certain it was not used, and do not accuse UR, of selling 2nd hand items). I think it's either bad manu design or an odd one from the batch! My Hedon helmet (purchased from you also) had a nitch in the stitching on the leather (again it was in the sale) but I returned it directly to Hedon and they immediately replaced it! In future I will contact your team and/or return the item/s! (Ps. I have several helmets... one for each day of the month lol...).

when you mention noisy do you mean with earplugs or without?
