I gotta say, they cant just give them the surgery like you said to, its expensive and its also not an immediate solution, the gastric bypass or "weight loss surgery" doesn't actually really affect your weight, it affects your stomach, it makes it smaller, so you get fuller quicker and cant eat as much, but if you don't have the discipline to eat less, and continue with the same diet, you'll just stretch it out, and then it would have been a waste of money and manpower, not to mention surgery is dangerous for an obese person, their weight can put strain on their heart, and affect their blood pressure plus they may not wake up from being put under anaesthesia. Being larger increases the potential for complications which is why they typically have to lose weight for their own safety before they can even operate.
Some people are lazy, some have mental problems that make them eat more, others, well they just want to get fatter, as seen multiple times throughout this video. Mainly by women.

Ok. If you are SEVEN at 100 POUNDS that is a PROBLEM, especially at 17 weighing 400 sum pounds is CRAZY. The parents should have taken action and to help their child, THATS ALMOST AN ADULT, to teach them that that isn't a good lifestyle, and maybe even put them on certain diets and trying to help them get involved with any physical activity to better themselves. What I also hate about this, is that their partners are encouraging them to live in that sort of fat unhealthy lifestyle. But in my opinion, I love the people that take accountability for being fat and unhealthy, and at least try to better themselves by physical activity or certain diets, no, I'm not saying you shouldn't eat, I'm saying you should attempt a weight loss journey and get help especially if you are THAT obese. no, it's not just on looks, yes it looks like you have multiple set of boobs, but it's also obviously very unhealthy. nobody should live like this. when I was ten, I weighed around 89 pounds, and i was STILL trying to better myself. now, I was not fat at all, in fact I was just a normal little girl, but i let my insecurities and thoughts take over and i started attempting to get better at pushups, and other physical activities to better myself, and to be honest I'm glad I did that. because if i at least attempt to continue, i will see much better results. so, keep trying.
