I personally don't think any kids should get life in prison. I feel like if a kid, an underdeveloped, probably traumatized little kid that still has sixty or seventy years ahead of them should be sent to like a mental hospital or a psych ward so that they can at least try to work on what's wrong with them before they're too old and too far gone to ever be saved.
I agree, but only for accidental murders like the last case. Things like the girl in Germany, where she was stabbed and dumped by the two other kids, stabbed over 30 times btw, no. They deserved life sentences and they didn’t even get punished due to laws protecting kids under 14. They were 12 and 13 and had no issue confessing, which was obviously due to the law. They didn’t even feel bad after it and posted tik tok dances. One was apparently threaded a similar fate if they didn’t help tho, so the threatened one should get therapy if it’s true.

I think all kids involved in the crime should receive some form of counseling or therapy whether for trauma or because they caused the crime whether they deserve life in prison or not.

When they say 15 to life or 25 to life means that you would need to spend that many years in prison in order to be eligible for parole. If you’re sentenced to life in prison without parole, then you stay in prison for the rest of your life.
