@@warrenwolf4690 That’s not easy finding a place you haven’t stayed 😂 Sonny and I hiked in Switzerland many times. Loved the multitude of trail signs with clear directions. And fun to hike up a mountain, come down in another valley, and take a bus or train back to where you started. So civilized
So sad about the bridge. A catastrophe because however brilliant and worth-while, a re-build is never quite the same. (Unless I don't know it is a re-build! ) Thank you for the video!
I love Lucerne, such a beautiful city. I was there maybe 30 years ago and watching your video makes me want to return.
@@chipwilliams403 My first time in Lucerne was also over 30 years ago. Such a shame about the bridge. Thinking is a careless smoker. 🙈
Happy Saturday. A city I haven’t been to. Beautiful 😊
Happy Saturday to you though it's freezing in Chi. Take me back to Palm Springs!
@ 50degrees here. Overcast. Take back your weather. 😎😎😀

Hotel des Balances. We stayed there on our first trip to .Europe together in 1986. It was October, and very foggy. Gorgeous city!
@@claudiahansen4938 How do you remember where you stayed? Most of my past stays are a BIG BLUR. 🤪
@ not sure why, in this case. I was keeping the expenses in a small notebook for decades. Didn't start sending email reports to friends until 1998.

@@danielintheantipodes6741 Some of the paintings partially survived 🙈 but re-build is never the same. Best to you. 💕
