Nandos Peri Peri Livers is a spicy & gravy filled dish. It is enjoyed as a starter, main or as a side dish.
It may not suite everyone's palate but if you try preparing it this way, I guarantee you will devour it.

Nandos Peri Peri Livers Ingredients:
◆500 grams chicken livers
◆100 ml water
◆125 grams Nandos Peri Peri sauce
◆2 tablespoons olive oil
◆½ onion
◆2 tablespoons butter or margarine
◆½ teaspoon salt
◆1 teaspoon ginger & garlic paste
◆1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
◆1 teaspoon garlic powder
◆2 tablespoons chili powder
◆1 teaspoon chicken spice
◆1 teaspoon red chili flakes
◆250ml fresh cream
◆fresh parsley or coriander for garnishing

Down under the last few months. Eagerly tried the local Nandos 30 minutes away, only to find they don't have chicken livers on the menu here and so my daughter who loves it was very sad!! So we tried your recipe tonight, and guess what...according to her it's really better than the real thing!! I think so too...and so thank you for the recipe. Dankie

Thanks. I've only eaten in Nandos once or twice (I know, I know, I'm in England, but it isn't on my radar) and this isn't something I've eaten there, but I had some chicken livers in the freezer (and most of the other ingredients), saw this video and tried it. I had to improvise with 'chicken spice' (what exactly IS chicken spice?), and it was delicious.
Oh nice ☺️ chicken spice is usually sold in bottles here, I don't know what's in it but it's to season chicken lol but it's fine if you don't have it - not a big deal. Glad you enjoyed it 😊

Any substitute recommendations for the peri peri sauce?
Use whatever hot sauce you like 👍
Can i use milk instead of cream?
Hi unfortunately not as milk won’t thicken - cream will thicken very quickly

It’s good but it’s not Nandos. They don’t put onions in their livers
