At 45 years , Sasikath Senthil has an illustrious career to boast of. A former software engineer turned IAS (Karnataka cadre), he is now a first time Congress parliamentarian. He won from the Tiruvallur seat with the highest vote margin of more than 570000 in Tamil Nadu. He raised a slogan against atrocities on minorities, Dalits and Adivasis after his swearing in as MP.
