I have irregular cycle but l'm through my mentrusation day today..it is possible to concieve...but my cycle 21-18,26-11,
Start using ovulation test kit from tomorrow or next..use it everyday, there is a control line and a test line, the control line will be dark from the first day and the test line will be faint..so anyday the two lines on the strip becomes dark..like very dark..then that means you will ovulate in the next 12 to 24 hours, just start having intercourse from that day. Try this method. It helps women with irregular cycles.

You can start taking clomid from cycle day 2. The goal is for you to complete the drug before your eggs begins to mature, so cycle day 2 is the best bet for both women with regular and irregular cycles

Maam please clearify me on this cycle length variation. My cycle length varries like this; 30, 34, 36, 29, 36, 30, 29. Please does it still fall in IRREGULAR cycle or IRREGULAR periods?

The 18 and 11 are constant. It marks the first day of your fertile window and the last day of your fertile window. It is a constant number.
So you use 18 and 11 to calculate whatever cycle lengths you get, just like i did in the video.

Thank you Nurse Dera, but how would it be possible to know the ovulation day before the actual day? because to try for a baby girl, one needs too have sex 4or 5days prior to the ovulation day

It is still very normal. Normal cycle length is between 21 days to 35 days. Just calculate your cycles for at least 6 months, get the cycle lengths and follow the steps in this video to calculate your fertile days. Thanks for your compliment🤗❤️

Thanks Dera, but my question is, how did come about the numbers 18 and 11 that you subtractted from 28 and 24 respectively
Luteal phase for women is between 11 to 18 days, and the average is 14. So for women with irregular cycles we use 11 and 18 to do their calculations. Luteal phase is the number of days a woman spends after her ovulation before she gets her next period.

Nice video...pls how does a woman who wants a baby girl but has irregular cycle length go about it especially since for a greater chance of a girl, intercourse has to happen a few days further than ovulation day. Pls help me out😊
Thanks for your comment. It’s very simple. For a woman with irregular cycle lengths, first step is to calculate your menstrual cycle for a period of 6 months, then follow the steps in this video to calculate your fertile window. Then use ovulation test strips to test for ovulation for that 6 months also, have a diary where you will record all these. You will notice a pattern with the ovulation strips, you will notice you usually get positive tests from a certain day to a certain day in the different cycles within the 6 months. Then in your next cycle when you enter your fertile window, and with the help of your ovulation results, have sex the first 2 to 3 days before the days you usually get positive ovulation tests, then stop intercourse until after your fertile window. With this you will have a good chance of conceiving a baby girl.

Hello dear. Your shortest cycle here is 30 days, and your longest is 38 days. So you subtract 18 from 30 and you get 12, then you subtract 11 from 38 and get 27. This means your fertile days starts from cycle day 12 - 27. Also take the advice I gave towards the end of the video seriously. If you are trying to conceive and you have irregular cycles, while using this calendar method to track your ovulation also try to get an ovulation test kit and start using it as well. It will really help you faster.

This August I start my period on 2 of August and have start another period on 23 of the month again

If your period started on 1st of August, and the next period started on the 23rd of August, then that means your cycle length is 21 days. Now i need to know if this 21 days is regular or your cycle length is irregular. For us to do that, i will need you to trace back to when you started your period last month, last two months, last three months...up to last 6 months if possible. With this information, i will be able to calculate your ovulation day.

Before I get married and after I get married I do do my period like this
For example if I start period on 1 of this month and end of the 5day I will have another one on the 24of the same month

Although i would have loved it if you gave me up to 6 months of your cycle for a more accurate result. I have done your calculation based on the days you gave me..22nd June, 13th July, 2nd August and 23rd August. And i came to see that you have 21 days menstrual cycle length. You are among the women that have a short menstrual cycle..your fertile days starts from the 1st day of your menstrual cycle to cycle day 11... and your ovulation day is on cycle day 7. Now you made mention of your desire for a baby boy. The best time for you to have intercourse as regards to that is on cycle day 6, 7 and 8...that means you should start having intercourse immediately after you are done seeing your period. It is okay to see your period two times in a month, just count from the first day you saw your period to the last day before your next period to know how many days cycle you have.

Average length of a woman's luteal phase is 11 to 18. That is why we use the two numbers to calculate for women with irregular cycles, so use the numbers to calculate yours too if you have irregular cycles
