Imagine if scientists counted all of Saturn's ring particles as moons, we'd be here for the rest of our lives.
Multiple lives lol
What is the definition of a moon then? What counts
pretty sure it’s something orbiting a planet/dwarf that isn’t inturrupted by other moons… it may not though, let me know.
@@vloggingwithsam4811google exists
@@tommat72To answer particles around Saturn make up its rings ranging from dust to ice collectively orbiting in a flat disk. Moons are larger celestial bodies composed of rock or ice with distinct orbits around Saturn and the potential to have their own moons. Hope that helps
That view from Titan was spectacular
Yeah the Titan's view is spectacular but...
did you know that the all the moon always faces the planet!
wow!
Its because titan has atmosphere?
i know@@lamedzaen
@@lamedzaen I'ts because Titan is tidally locked to Saturn
Space Engine in VR is a vastly different experience than seeing it on a flat screen.
Too broke bro 😢
The view from the Sheppard moons inside Saturn's rings, is one of those things I never new I had always wanted to see until after the fact.
You should do the rest of the giants! Keep it up!
Saturn is gorgeous. Its always nice to have variety in the Solar System.
Though, I always liked Neptune better. Blue and mysterious, like our seas and oceans on Earth.
Will def do a Neptune version, stay tuned!
@@Stargaze_youtube Awesome. Uranus is often forgotten aswell, maybe find some interesting things about that planet aswell?
@@Jump_ImmortalIt smells bad
Well... about that blue part...
@@shpho i heard.
This now marks the *third* Calypso I know of. The Nymph, the Australian Merle from Bluey, and now, a moon. That view from Calypso was JAW-DROPPING AMAZING!! You have gotten a sub!
”Earth seen from other planets starting from Mercury to like Pluto or Sedna" video would be kinda cool if you ask me
Distances and sizes in space are truly mind boggling. The distant saturnian moons are millions of kilometers away from Saturn, in comparison our moon is about 380k kilometers away from Earth, and you can fit 30 earths in that earth-moon distance alone. You can fit about 94 earths between Titan and Saturn. About 11,800 earths in the distance between the earth and the sun. And about 110,000 earths in-between Saturn and the sun.
I rounded down several earths worth in those calculations to keep the numbers simple. Multitudes of earths lost in the error margins of space.. mind boggling.
Edit: congrats on your first sponsor!
S/2009 S1 is easily my favorite; Titan is strange and beautiful, and a very close second, but nothing beats that view of all the ring particles flowing like some bizarre river.
Very excited to see Stargaze new video❤...very relaxing yet mindblowing to imagine the beauty of the space💫 Thankyou for sharing!
Thank you!
The music in this video fits perfectly and adds so much to the vibe
Love the content, keep it up my guy. ❤
Thank you:) I will
Those last few moon names sounded like the scientist naming them had a big interest in Nordic mythology as well :D
My favorite moons are Titan to Iapitus because we can see Saturn, it's rings and other moons too..😊 Also could you please put the distance comparison of our Moon from Earth? Like how close and farther each moon of Saturn compared to our Moon from our Earth. That would be even more interesting..🙂 Thanks a lot for this wonderful video.
Helene and Polydeuce are closest to the actual Earth-Moon distance (384,000 km)
terrific job!!!
My favorite moons is Europa, Titania, and Titan
Moons **is** :skull:
Nice Video !
Brilliant Video
I love your videos ❤ maybe you could make this also for Jupiter, Uranus and Neptune? I would love to watch it :)
TYSM FOR THIS JOURNEY THROUGH THE SATURNIAN SYSTEM 😌
Calypsos View was my favourite
Nice! I hope Uranus will be next :)
Also my favorite moon is Pan, cuz he looks like a pelmen :]
Janus, Titan and Pandora 🤩🤩🤩
Lovely video.
Me realizing there’s more moons farther away than Kiviuq: wait… THERE’S MORE??? (Damn how are the moons not floating away by now-)
That's nothing. Meet Psamathe and Neso who are somehow orbiting Neptune roughly twice as far as Fornjot.
I think it has to do with how far the planet is from the Sun. There's a certain cutoff where any object attracted by the planet's gravity will just end up saying "nah" and orbiting the Sun instead. That's obviously less strict further away from the Sun.
view from titan was very beautiful
Amazing stuff but a bit too quick for me. One after the other in very quick successions.
I'm aware that it can be stopped/slowed down but it would have been cool to see some of these for a minute or so to fully immerse yourself in the experience.
Still! Love the channel and keep it up!
Nice !
Now I want to see views of other planets from their moons. Could you do that someday please?
I could only imagine what it would be like if civilisation started on one of those outer most moons. Like even as a modern person I struggle to understand how Saturn as a spec in the sky manages to keep those moons in orbit. It would take them so much longer to realise how their world works
There are moons so far from Saturn... 21M kilometer i Just cnta imagine that. It os like a mini solar system inside ouro solar system
It’s interesting that the view from some moons the rings don’t appear, but others it does. It’s just cool
Calypso was my hugest favorite that view is beautiful
Good job as always I got this game cause of u but my pc can’t run it well lol
So beautiful ❤️😍
nice work on 30k subs
Thank you! Very happy, big milestone!
this video made me feel like I'm in heaven.
Titan maybe will be perfect choice for colonization.
I haven’t watched your videos in 2 years
Saturn, the most beautiful planet in the solar system :]
Hey man how do i make the sun look more accurate from other planets? (The sun from mercury looks the same as from earth.)
Here are my pc specs:
I7-12650h rtx 3050ti
Camera man never diesbtw what's app that or is that any game‽‽
Huh, "Pandora" looks nothing like the one from the movie.
Could you do one on Uranus' moons please? Even Jupiter and Saturn would be cool too.
Mimas - Planet Eclipse
Favorite Saturn moons - Calypso, Titan
3:59 for a second I thought that was "Hehehe"
The view of the second moon Pan 🤫
Also, could we have a video like this but for the farthest/closest moons of Jupiter, Uranus and Neptune? (:
Please do one of these for Jupiter’s moons next please?
please videos with starships❤
Fun Fact: you can only see Saturn’s rings from Iapetus because its slightly off Saturn’s Equatorial plane, and is the only major moon with such a big difference from its orbital inclination and parent equatorial plane. Triton is another example tho.
Another fun fact: You wouldn’t see Saturn from Titan because its atmosphere is too thick, especially with its Tholin Haze that it will completely block Saturn. The sun will be visible though.
You were here?
@@TAProductions2021 yea im in a lot of places
@@DeltaHydrixian oh
S/2009 S1 was like i was sailing on the rings
The view from S/2009 gave me anxiety seeing all those Ring stones zooming by
Our Moon is around 384400km away from Earth, so in that case Dione (2:51) Helene (3:58) and Polydeuce (4:04) are the most similar ones... at least in distance.
My fav moon is mimas
Calypso's view 💯
I like how the further it got the names of the moons names transitioned from greek mythology to Scandinavian mythology
Could you do this for Jupiter too, please?
THIS IS WHAT WE NEED A SILMUATION LIKE THIS ON APPLE VISION PRO
I wanna know why Iapatus and the moons after it are so far out, are they beginning to leave Saturn’s gravity or are just entering??
Shoutout to the cameraman for taking these brilliant videos.
My favourite moon was Rhea
Outer wilds OST lets gooo
Titan
Titan but that ones kind of a dead giveaway
Favorite moon: Enceladus ( farts ice vapors )
What is this video game called ?
For S/2009 S1, wouldn't the moon be orbiting at roughly the same speed as the ring particles? If the ring particles are traveling that much faster than the moon I'd think they'd be orbiting at higher altitude, or the moon lower...?
Unless the moon is on a retrograde orbit 🤔?
How did y’all get there ? Y’all must have a good ship with my better gas than mine 🤦🏾♂️
Imagine if we were living creature in one of the fartest moon of saturn.. maybe for a long time we never think that saturn is the planet we rotate for.. maybe we think it's the sun, as it shines brighter
FUN FACT: While earth has lakes of water(H2O), Titan was found to carry lakes of liquid methane!
Name song?
Description
When we are in one moon, where is the other moons in the sky?
Most of them would look like bright stars
IM KID PLS CAN YOU DO NEPTUNE MOON TO FAR AYWAY
Imagine orbiting a gas giant
Phoebe is a retrograde orbit moon of Saturn
I dont think that was all 146 moons
Lol
Thanks? I mean like i like math but not in a sponser way.
