Surprised no vultures showed up! I live in the country about 95 or so miles from where you are. In AR just past the state line anyway about a month ago there was a nice 8 point dead in the ditch in front of my house. Took my tractor & dragged it into the back woods could see it with my binoculars took about 2-3 days till the vultures found it but when they did it was on! Must have been 15-20 of them for a couple of days fighting over it after a week it was completely gone I think a pack of whatever dragged off what was left of it?
I hunt in that general area and I have seen mountain lions, bears, elk, feral hogs, wild horses and just about every other type of wildlife that you might expect in those woods.
PLENTY OF KITTY CATS IN YOUR WOODS, DO YOU HAVE ANY BIGGER CATS OR WHITE TAIL DOWN THAT WAY. I'M UP IN THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE STATE WHERE THE CORN & BEANS ARE AND PLENTY OF THE BIGGER SPECIES OF CATS. WITH THAT SAID I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED THAT PART OF THE STATE AS WELL HARD TO BEAT ALL THEM CLEAN RIVERS DOWN THAT WAY. THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR BEAUTIFUL PART OF MISSOURI WITH US.
i turkey hunted in that area i think , owls bend i remember , we would pull into the woods near blue spring ? beautiful woods and back then there were few hunters. Pert Weaver took me hunting one morning. Also met Neil Cost one morning when he was driving around trying to crank one up. I was 12 when we started hunting there and looked forward to that trip with my dad and brother like nothing else. im 64 now and life in the timber in uwharie mts. of NC , STILL LOVE MY TURKEY HUNTING
I knew Pert Weaver, he had property right down the holler from our house on sycamore creek just outside of Winona. I remember the morning that Pert passed away, he was leaning up against a tree, with a turkey call on his lap and a shotgun! Really good man! Loved to turkey hunt! What is your name maybe I would know some of your family?!?
@melburncraig822 , my father was a attorney from Decatur Ill. Who just wanted to spend time with his sons and read something about turkey hunting. We had a lych box call between the three of us and knew nothing, 1972 I think was the first year we went down there for first of many years growing up. Had a relativel I think introduced us to Pert , that was when the ferry at owls bend was operational and met him on the Ellington side of current river one morning. Collier was my mother's maiden name who had a connection to Pert. I remember he used a piece of a balloon to call one in for me that day I spooked without firing a shot that day so many years ago. I had heard he passed while hunting and can't say I'm surprised. Gods that way

Most (not all) of the vultures here have migrated away for the winter.

Browning Dark Ops
Have you gotten any bear or elk on your camera in the past?
a few bear, no elk in this general area. I do photograph elk, but with dslr's.
Wonder, what spooked that first buck?
Not sure. They are always on a hair trigger.
Might have scented the Bobcat if it's scent had hung around even a little.
reflection from the camera lense
Whatever it was, he was not spooked bad and came right back in.
Same thing that spooked that crow
A good variety of animals! Do you ever get any images/videos of mountain lions in your area?
I hunt in that general area and I have seen mountain lions, bears, elk, feral hogs, wild horses and just about every other type of wildlife that you might expect in those woods.
Good footage you got off your browning camera
How many animals died at that location? Every few scenes there's a new, fresh kill.
What brand cameras are you using?
Left handed bobcat?
What is the building up at the top of the hill?
A game blind in case I want to sit in it and take pics.

They all know where to get fed now. What did you put out for them? Was that a turkey?
At 5:52 @ something looking like a squirrel came out from under the hide and ran up the tree. What was it?
