Terri , you mentioned about taking more than one kind of allergy medication to help with your histamine and IC, what kind are you taking and how much and are you overlapping them ? If so can you tell me your routine of taking them ? Dr. Sutherland is this something that it’s OK to be doing or are used in more than one kind of allergy medicine or a deviling up on a allergy medicine if so can you tell me what kinds are safe to use using more than the dosage that it saying or doubling up on different ones together? Thank you both ! I have been diagnosed with chronic IC And have used several different treatment options only to stay in pain daily and nightly sometimes to the point of debilitating pain to not be able to enjoy anything anymore.
Hi I have IC and deal with problems with histamine. I take a medication for my narcolepsy that causes extremely high levels of histamine in my body. This causes me to go through hell when I take my medication. I can't advise you on antihistamines and all that but I recommend that you see a urologist that's experienced in this area. Best of luck!
