If the rod was going bad would it make noise when you put it in drive and put your foot on the gas because that's what mine doing when its in park it's okay soon as I put it in drive and pull off and give it gas it make noise but if I just let it easy on its own it don't make no noise only when I hit the gas
Does it matter if you bring gas tank close to mechanical fuel pump than where it should be stock. Will fuel pressure be different than where stock gas tank is at stock placement. Does psi get greater or not.
There will be no pressure issues. The pressure from a mechanical pump is only on the outlet so having the tank closer to the pump won’t increase the pressure. Good luck with your project
Fuel and oil does NOT look like a milkshake. You have some bad information in this video. Fuel will simply thin the oil down and cause an overfill issue when checking the oil on the dipstick.
Great video man.
Thank you. I appreciate the feed back.

Thanx for your video.
Great Vid. Ty. Did you make a follow up for the install? How to find tdc? So you don’t have to compress the pump to line up the bolts.
I did not make a follow up for TDC but in the future

Random question, do you know if 1977 Cadillac have fuel push rod
what if the washer broke
are you talking about the washer between the two bolt together parts of the pump?

When my fuel pump took a dump, the 10W-40 oil came out like pee when I went to drain the oil.
