Just discovered your Chanel. I watch you test and tune a little gasser , and the clutch stuck and plugs gap got bent shut. I am old racer and just a would throw my 2cents in. We always index our spark plugs for two reasons, 1 so the open side is facing down towards the piston so it in the best place to ignite the a/f mixture. 2 so the piston can't hit the ground strap. Just sharppy a mark on the porcelain on the side of plug where the ground attaches to the plug and make sure that's pointing straight up or close. Can take a little swapping around but worth it. And a weak diaphragm pressure plate can stick at high rpms. Ran into that alot. Just my 2cents. Have a good day.

Getting a little air on the launch under Bad Penny was great to see...Looking forward to seeing you guys soon when I bring Midnite Express out here from California. I'm not a good spectator so I need my 57 here in NC or I feel naked.1 quick short story about flipping your rear end up: I was doing a little street racing and did the same thing and when it flipped it took out the shocks and brake lines so which means...I had no brakes. Luckily I had room to slow down after it happened.

Bad penny sounds like she is running top notch moving right along. I wish we could all have seen calamity Jane make a pass she sounded like she was gonna make one hell of a run. I love how you guys prove it time and time again it does not take big dollar parts to make power I can't wait until Jane is fixed and you can make a pass atleast it gives you a excuse to do some minor engineering and upgrading to the rear end now that you know where the weak point is you can just beef it up. Rock on fellas you guys are bad ass I can't wait until one day when I have enough money saved up to buy a car to build into a gasser I keep looking every day I want something like a Henry J or a Studebaker haha or even a little opel gt imagine that man that would be cool.

na man the u bolts were attached to the ladder bars to hold em in place when i was setting up my floater suspension a couple years ago,that way you can square all the components with the u bolts tight then place all your welds once its all square,the bars are welded solid to the rear end,i just left the u bolts on and welded those as well as extra support kind of a 360 degree weld deal,ive raced this car alot never had anything break on the rear end until the center section twisted in this video,here is a link to the video where i put the suspension together you can see what im talking about th-cam.com/video/n_ZRzwZzJMA/w-d-xo.html thanks for watching ...justin

yeh we had a great time here the whole event was probably the best we have ever been to,the people were just there to have a good time and enjoy friends and cars,thats what we are all about,it wasnt about big money or being the fastest or how many fans we could lure into the race to fill someones pockets, it was just good ole drag racing fun,and the people were genuine no pretending no faking it just real folks and thats what we wanted from day one...it was just great, and i hope so on jane,im gonna put a new rear end in it new suspension set up and we will try again....i hope she does what i think she will! ...thanks for watching and the comments buddy...justin

Reading through the comments I found the answer as to why I didn't see yall at Shadyside. Its a shame that happened and I'm starting to wonder about SEGA all together. I know of some previous drama and it seems to start adding up. I see Boogie Man was at the event and wonder if he had a fallin out as well. I loved SEGA but it seems to be losing its shine, but luckily this event seems to be becoming what it was.

real as it gets! the cars in dads class actually had correct weight to engine combos thats why the races were so close,no one was pretending and they weighed each car after every pass,it was awesome,and im trying,i finally got a good clutch in it and got the power to the rear end...it only held for a millisecond hahah but it made it to the rear! gotta try and look at the bright-side...now i gotta find another rear end and make a better set up ...justin

no the we are not part of SEGA anymore,long story short,they didnt like one of our videos (EP.7) and wanted it took down and a public apology issued otherwise we could not be apart of sega,noone tells us what to do or what to say or what we can or can not post on our channel,"real as it gets" is exactly what we say it is and we had nothing to apologize for we told the truth and will stand by it till the end,and we wanted to run with all gasser groups and be friends with everyone and have fun,but thats frowned upon due to some rivalry between groups,which is stupid,we have no hard feelings etc toward anyone in sega they are great folks,but we will not lie and pretend just because some folks dont like the truth being told, we would love for all gasser groups to get along and all be apart of racing together and thats what we aim to do,join gassers together not pull em apart,everyone deserves to have fun and race there car and should not be afraid of getting kicked out of one group to do so...justin
Amen! Them Sega people are not real gasser hot rodder people they are in it for one reason and one reason only and that is fame and money. real as it gets! the cars in dads class actually had correct weight to engine combos thats why the races were so close,no one was pretending and they weighed each car after every pass,it was awesome,and im trying,i finally got a good clutch in it and got the power to the rear end...it only held for a millisecond hahah but it made it to the rear! gotta try and look at the bright-side...now i gotta find another rear end and make a better set up ...justin

I'm looking at the 6 minute mark. Using u bolts to attach the ladder bars to the rear end?
Who made those ladder bars? No wonder the rear end twisted.
na man the u bolts were attached to the ladder bars to hold em in place when i was setting up my floater suspension a couple years ago,that way you can square all the components with the u bolts tight then place all your welds once its all square,the bars are welded solid to the rear end,i just left the u bolts on and welded those as well as extra support kind of a 360 degree weld deal,ive raced this car alot never had anything break on the rear end until the center section twisted in this video,here is a link to the video where i put the suspension together you can see what im talking about th-cam.com/video/n_ZRzwZzJMA/w-d-xo.html thanks for watching ...justin

no the we are not part of SEGA anymore,long story short,they didnt like one of our videos (EP.7) and wanted it took down and a public apology issued otherwise we could not be apart of sega,noone tells us what to do or what to say or what we can or can not post on our channel,"real as it gets" is exactly what we say it is and we had nothing to apologize for we told the truth and will stand by it till the end,and we wanted to run with all gasser groups and be friends with everyone and have fun,but thats frowned upon due to some rivalry between groups,which is stupid,we have no hard feelings etc toward anyone in sega they are great folks,but we will not lie and pretend just because some folks dont like the truth being told, we would love for all gasser groups to get along and all be apart of racing together and thats what we aim to do,join gassers together not pull em apart,everyone deserves to have fun and race there car and should not be afraid of getting kicked out of one group to do so...justin
Amen! Them Sega people are not real gasser hot rodder people they are in it for one reason and one reason only and that is fame and money. Even when you were a part of Sega they never mentioned your guys names or even recorded your cars only the big top shots and fancy people from TV shows that flopped.

Its sad that most have to sit and start drama and just sit and fight and bitch about stuff that dont even matter instead of just having a good time with one another and enjoying life. Sucks old Jane but thats part of it atleast the clutch held this time, just found the next weak spot down the line, keep at it you will get the bigs worked out just dont let the old girl whip ya.
