I've done a bit of Christmas shopping for two little girls! In this video, we'll take a look at some of the things I bought. More to come later in a soft spoken voice to please those who like that. I hope you enjoy it! :)

“Anything is better than nothing” 💔 My heart. This is so appreciated.
As a single mother, my mother would apply for Christmas help and stuff like this during some holidays, I never knew it, so she probably got the info to fill out whenever she was asking what I would like or needed. But now that I'm in my 20s, I know how important it was to my mom to have a good holiday and memories. And it gave her joy to know that I could still have a good Christmas and have things that I needed. So I know the importance of things like this. It's not just great for the kids, but you're also putting a smile into the hearts of the parents that you help, because they know that their kids will be taken care of, and honestly that's all I ever wanted as a kid was for my mom to be happy. So this video really makes me happy, you're an angel and I love learning more about your personality through every video , thank you for this, a lot of people wouldn't care ❤️
I’m a muslim and therefore i don’t celebrate christmas but this is such a touching story and i love that you also considered the parents perspective and how happy your mom got and not just yourself aaaaah 🥰🥰🥰

You're so right. It takes so much stress off of parents to know their kids will get to have Christmas, especially single parents. Things like the Angel Tree are such blessings to these families.

We have a Christmas Alliance in our school district that does this type of thing and I sign my kids up simply because I can't afford as much as I would like. Plus it keeps us humble 😊

If you are looking for stocking stuffers still, consider stickers, little mirrors/ compacts, or small Claire’s items like hair ties or bows (hair stuff always goes missing with sisters!) markers/ colored pencils and pencil pouches with characters are simple but always useful.

My parents used to always let my sister and I pick an angel off the tree and help shop for them. Was always a highlight of the holiday season for me. Thank you for doing this and making their Christmas special!

My siblings and I were angel tree kids and I don’t think I’ll ever be able to express the gratitude that I felt for the family that decided to give us a wonderful Christmas. Thank you so much for doing this, I can assure you that those little girls will always remember the Christmas you’re providing them with this year.
My mother is a single mother of twins and my sister and I were lucky enough to be chosen for an angel tree type program through our elementary school. One of the best Christmas’s my sister and I ever had. As an adult I now know what that meant to my mom. Thank you for choosing these little girls to sponsor. You got some absolutely wonderful items and I think they will love it ALL! I also have an idea for wrapping the basketball. Put the basketball in a small box and tape the box closed and then wrap the box with wrapping paper! That way she won’t know what it is but it’ll still be wrapped! Thank you so much for making such great content!

These are great gifts! May I suggest getting an extra stocking for the mom from the girls! Include bubble bath, etc and some jewelry from the Goodwill bag.

they also do adults! last year my best friend and I bought for some kids but also an elderly lady that wanted an iron and ironing board, a Swiffer and just some clothes. that broke my heart. we went all out for all of them, but the older lady got to me because of just the basics she needed and putting herself out there to try to get the help.
my family has been at this point before and it's really great to see other people give back and do this kind of thing for people in need. thank you for sharing 🖤

there’s a program at my school like this where you can “adopt a child” for Christmas and you can buy them gifts. you can also share a child with a classmate so you can both chip in to buy them toys & clothes. i am thinking of doing it but in my mind i’ll always feel like everything i get them will be bad and something they won’t want or like & i’ll constantly wish i could’ve bought more/better items.
Like that mum says though, anything is better than nothing. It's a kind gesture you're thinking of making and sharing with a classmate is a good idea!

When my divorce was final. I had to ask for help from my kids Schools for Christmas help. 🎄 It was a little embarrassing for me but they were all so gracious and nice about wanting to help. I can never thank them enough. God Bless you Mary and for all who can help. You are one caring person.

I absolutely love how generous and kind hearted you are Mary, i always add extra into my christmas shopping to donate for those less fortunate. We aren't wealthy by any means we have struggled at times but always managed. It absolutely breaks my heart to think of children going without especially at christmas. If our gifts can put a little smile on a child or parents face then what a privelege it is indeed 💖 No-one has ever become poor by giving 💖

My family has picked two names off the angel tree every year for the last 10-11 years. I have a bunch of siblings and we all pitch in. It’s been so much fun shopping for these kids!
I’m tearing up at all the stuff you’re giving them, this is so sweet!😭😭 this is such a selfless thing for you to do, I know you are just the kindest person. My family and I did this for a family with 2 or 3 kids, and when they came to pick up the presents, they were so grateful for everything my mom bought for them. My mom is very similar to you and put a lot of effort and money into this, and it made me to happy to be able to spread love to those that need it in our communities.💖💖💖

something that might seem random to some but that i noticed- the fact that some of the clothes are brand name like calvin klein can mean a whole lot; i remember my mom getting me brand name clothes for christmas so i wouldn't get bullied. it may not have been intentional but especially at the age of 8-14 or so, those things can matter a lot to a kid. ^^

This is the nicest thing ever!! I just went ahead and ‘adopted’ a child for Christmas as well. If you live in Atlanta you can do this through The Salvation Army. I am sure they are everywhere around the country. Thank you for sharing Mary!!
This will be a memorable Christmas for the girls. My mother told me how she felt that Santa always forgot her and her brothers and that they hadn't been good. That just broke my heart. There are so many children who will be without gifts this year, I'm glad you are making 2 girls very happy.

I already loved you and your content before... I found your channel only a few months ago and became a huge fan of all that you do and show us, your personality, the humor you have, everything... But tonight, I had tears in my eyes for the first time. You moved me beyond words... What you do for these girls and their parents, the way you do it (as if it's totally normal and everyone does this) and the love and care I see in your eyes... This gives me hope! People like you do still exist and they just do the right thing without showing off, just by being loving and kind and caring for others who desperately need it. Mary this is such a lovely thing you are doin for these little one's. Their parents are going to have bittersweet faces when they watch their kid's open the gifts. It will be totally worth it. I see the tree and my heart is heavy. Just want to grab all the tags and provide for each child. It is awful to know there is just bad crap out there being done to kid's. I hate it. No child should ever have to know what that is like. I'm rambling now. But children is God's way of showing us Hope. I don't know, I'm just a big advocate for kids.
