I totally agree! When Sungchan covered Taeyong’s part in Boss in the Vlive concert, I was totally blown away with how well he managed with such a difficult part in such an iconic song! I really can’t wait to see how much he improves in the future

YangYang is so good and it’s not talked about enough. He has a really nice flow, and the way he adds inflections and nuances to his voice to make his verse interesting is really nice. Korean is his 4th language, and rapping at that kind of pace and energy is so impressive.

More over, he predicted how Mark was going to rap with power, so Taeyong made his part to match and complement Mark's. Taeyong is completely in his zone when it comes to recording and producing music. And of course is one powerful rapper! There's a reason why the producers/record professionals love working with Taeyong and consistently let Taeyong take the lead in recording his part and ask for his opinions!

Most idol rappers go hard, which is not bad. But his flow is distinctly his. I think SM rappers are not that showcases because SM was more well known for their vocals, but no mistake
