  • Victoria's statement to the police regarding the disappearance of John Favara. "I don't know what happened to him," Victoria said, "but I'm not sorry if something did. He never sent me a card. He never apologized. He never even got his car fixed." Her husband added with a shrug, "He killed my kid."

    John Gotti's brother Gene and his close friend Angelo Ruggiero were majorly involved in drugs. They were indicted in like 1983 after the FBI caught Angelo on tape. This is the main reason Gotti ended up hitting Paul Castellano because Castellano may have whacked out Gotti's whole crew for dealing drugs. So they got him before he got them, supposedly. There was a large faction of the Gambino family that didn't like Paul and went along with the hit, and then they made Gotti the new boss. The 1996 Movie "Gotti" goes through all of this, including the death of Gotti's son Frank when he was hit by a car driven by Favara.

    The one strange thing about mobsters is that they never mixed their"family business" with their personal family life! They lived in regular neighborhoods where you would never imagine what they did for a "living"!! It was almost like they lived 2 completely different lives in one day! Usually very church going families, if you can believe it! They never believed in harming women or children or tasking revenge on the families of their enemies! They did have a " strange code of honor" despite all the killings they did! They were kind of predictable in their behavior, not like the hoodlums of today, no rhyme or reason why they do anything!!! Have a blessed day!

    I've read up on this, and it was an accident that John Gotti's son was struck by John Favara. Very unfortunate, and John Favara didn't deserve to be killed in a violent fashion for that. Shows you the criminal and cruel mindset of John Gotti and even his wife, Victoria, who beat him with a baseball bat. Very sad and senseless all around.

    • @glendasully
      @glendasully  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've read it too. Victoria & John both said that Favara never apologized. However, one account that I read stated the he was there "to apologize" when Victoria beat him with the bat

      @@glendasully I wonder why Victoria and her sons still have a lot of belongings that were left behind?

      I'm not 100% sure, but I've heard that the mansion was raided by the FBI. Maybe they left in a hurry. I'm not sure if YT will let me link my video but I'll try to link it in another comment if you want to see it

      @@glendasully Only if you are able to. I’ve seen other vids on TH-cam about that home, and it showed many belongings and even cars that were left behind. Really strange…
