Yorkshire Classic MCC-Manor Farm Pre Unit R7 28 9 22

Round 7 of the Club's Pre-Unit Championship on the hills high above the River Aire near Glusburn. The ground was very dry and dusty in places for the 44 riders entered for the event.
John Feather and John Dykes set out the 10 sections to be ridden 4 times expecting a little rain overnight but the weather gods were kind.
15 big bikes entered the event of whom 9 went clear, 4 on the Gentle easier route with the remainder on lightweight machines riding on a non championship basis.
Unexpectedly, almost 50% of the entry lost zero marks, a first for the club.
The dry ground had made for plenty of grip and any marks lost were generally for missing flags.
However, several clubman riders thoroughly enjoyed the event dispite the odd dab or two.
