    Great video love the truck at ton! Really cool to see an ultralight Curotto Can in use. I just feel like sharp objects are just waiting to wreak that Curotto Can though.

      +California Refuse Trucks Thanks! Yeah, people feel like it will rip, but in it's few years of service, it hasn't experienced any of those problems despite working a green waste, where there are tons of sticks and other sharp objects, and recycle route.

    Wow! Good job Aaron, your video came out great! I have probably watched it at least a dozen times already. It sure was a great day full of surprises, its amazing that at least 3 Heils work in the same area. I cannot say enough good things about the Heil Superlight. It is so fun to watch and listen to, Curotto sure made a great choice with the high strength Kevlar. The Kevlar bag has been on route for almost 5 years and it had no holes or anything, and even if there were holes, Curotto made it so you can replace the Kevlar bag if you have to. Another one of Curottos great innovations to the waste industry. NEWCO was a great company, regarding carts this is what Arcadia would look like if Moreno Valley serviced the city. Thanks again for coming and planing the trip, it was a memorable day.

      +WesternWasteManagement Thanks!! Yeah shocking how there is only Heil on this route!! So glad our trip was a success! It was awesome!

    Nice video! I don't know why but I am just loving the new Heil Pack Freedoms on the Autocar chassis, they just look awesome! Nice shot at 9:28, nice Toter too. I like that side loader too! Riverside looks cool, Great video!

    For once I'm enjoying something brand new. Even though it's an Autocar the combo looks great. I also enjoyed that innovative Curotto can with the "huge lawnmower bag" lolol. Awesome video! & Awesome driver!

      +TrashMaster684 Haha MoVal has a ton of fun trucks despite the fact that almost all their automated trucks are 09 and newer. Thanks!!

    I had totally forgotten about these "bag Curottos" until I saw this video pop up in my subscriptions. I have to say I like these way more than the regular ones. The front has absolutely no chance of getting dented obviously, and I'd imagine these are significantly cheaper than regular Curottos which I've heard are insanely expensive. Amazing video; one of my favorites from you. And needless to say, two Heils from WM in SoCal working in the same area... not your everyday sighting lol

    • @WMmaster626
      @WMmaster626  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +WasteManTony Yeah I'm curious as to why they never made it into mass production. There are a good amount of benefits if you run it on the right route. Agreed, it's pretty cool seeing a route in SoCal that doesn't have an Amrep on it haha Thanks!

    Great stuff man! Really cool to see the ultralight model, I was shocked they sold any. I really hope they aren't WM's latest way of cutting costs, you know it's only a matter of time before a hole gets slashed through the front of one half full of trash.... Liked that it used saddle tanks too, in my opinion thats the best place for them... most like a normal truck. Top and tailgate mount both have too many cons IMO. Really liked that he flipped the lids too, makes a video more entertaining. And also like the logos, which I actually didn't notice until reading the description haha. I'm beyond sick of the TCTG ones.

    • @WMmaster626
      @WMmaster626  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +rws676 Thank you! Definitely not a new way of cutting cost; WM's only bought a handful of Curotto Cans in the market area these past few years. As a whole, they are switching to ASLs. I definitely agree with saddle mounted tanks; too bad the DGE isn't very efficient for ASLs since tank placement is limited. Haha I actually love the TCTG signage on most trucks, only thing better is the simple WM letters without happy facts.

  • @Trashman590

    something different from the usual Peterbilt Amrep combo here in So. Cal & two trucks MoVal purchased too. Lightweight model curotto can looks alright still prefer the newer version more options, to add on. Side mounted CNG tanks and happy facts decal too very original.

    • @WMmaster626
      @WMmaster626  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Trashman590 Yeah bro MoVal has so much awesome stuff besides this truck. Although I'd say this Freedom FL is one of the rarest trucks WM has in SoCal. Thanks for the comment!

    Great video! Very cool trucks in this one! First off, that Heil Freedom is beautiful with the side mounted CNG tank and such haha. Funky Curotto Can too haha I agree with Eli, it looks like one of those post office carts haha, just looks so odd. That python was nice to, always enjoy watching the pythons in action, just seem like smooth trucks and I love watching the arm swing around over the hopper too. Liked seeing the two trucks tag team around the 5 minute mark too. Cool carts this area has as well as the scenery throughout the video was so nice. What kind of trucks did Newco run? Awesome video Aaron!

    • @WMmaster626
      @WMmaster626  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Kevin Barajas Thanks!! No idea on what Newco ran in this area, I didn't even know they worked here in the first place haha

    Great video Aaron! Your videos never fail to impress/entertain me. I really enjoyed the Heil Front Loader and the unique looking Curotto Can. The Python was awesome too! I really like the WX combo. I also like how the arm was wobbly haha. Any idea how old it is? Hope you can get more of that truck. Great finds in here!!

    • @WMmaster626
      @WMmaster626  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +TheNVTrashMan Thank you! Figured I'd get a clip of the Python knowing how much you like those trucks. That's a 2008/2009 model

  • @RefuseArizona
    @RefuseArizona 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Awesome video! Wow, I was not expecting to see a new WM Heil front loader running out there, usually it's Amrep or McNeilus they buy right? There's this one newer Peterbilt Heil freedom owned by WM that roams around here in the slew of McNeilus Contenders out here in Phoenix. Also, I don't know if I like the lightweight curotto can concept or not. That material that encloses the steel frame appears to be lighter like a thin rubber or something to that effect. If something sharp punctures that enclosure, talk about garbage juices getting on streets haha

    • @WMmaster626
      @WMmaster626  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Refuse Arizona Thanks! Yeah me neither! I knew they had a Freedom but no idea it had a Curotto attached, let alone this Superlight! Ohh I'd love to see pics of that 320/Freedom! Like those a lot better than a Contender. Haha the Curotto's been here for close to five years and it looks like it's surviving pretty well luckily!

  • @TwinCitiesTrash
    @TwinCitiesTrash 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    What a great video! This isn't the first time I've watched it, and I'm sure it's not the last. I honestly can't say I like Freedoms too much, but this one is by far my favorite! I really like how this truck doesn't have "Think Green, Think Clean" on the side of it, it looks much better how it is. That Curotto is something else, fastest I've seen in a while. After reading that the Curotto is five years old, I'd assume the truck is 5 years old too? If so, it looks great for it's age. That Python was fun too, is that the same truck Mike filmed? Also, it's awesome to see new Otto's out there! Great Video!

    • @WMmaster626
      @WMmaster626  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +mndsi Thanks!! I like the Freedom more so than a typical Contender so this was pretty sweet to see. Yup, this truck was bought at the end of 2011 I believe, right before they switched to the new logo. And yup same Python actually!

    Fantastic video! Enjoyed every minute of it. I enjoy now that you upload less often, making each video you upload more anticipated and special. Anyway, to start off, what an odd area! Strange setting in and of itself but on top of that it seems like the last area you'd expect to see WM in, much less a HEIL Freedom FL. And that "currotto can", seems more like one of those mesh post office package carts if you ask me :D. Really cool carts as well! Rare to see WM rotos nowadays. Neat Python as well. Never seen a Python on Turn-Keys before. lol wonder what made the cab so askew. Very entertaining footage once again! What area will you be hitting next?

    • @WMmaster626
      @WMmaster626  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +SoCalGarbageTrucks Thanks! Kevin and I have been trying to find the more interesting trucks WM runs around here, so I am glad the uploads are anticipated. This area was weird indeed! The highway on the way to the route was ghetto but finally we turned here and wow...it was beautiful. Not sure on the next area actually, there are so many options for us

  • @garbageproductions1
    @garbageproductions1 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    That's a really neat truck! Very unique in being CNG but having the tanks under the body and the regular happy fact logo. The super light Curotto is interesting, but I don't agree with it at all. Way too many things that could go wrong, and I don't really see a purpose. That Python is really awesome too, love the lid flips from both trucks. Is this from the same yard that services Mike's area? Great video!

    • @WMmaster626
      @WMmaster626  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +garbageproductions1 The superlight Curotto weights 600-800 less than the typical Curotto, which puts less strain on the arms. Kevin knows a lot more about this so if you want more insight, feel free to ask him on his video. Yup, same yard as Mike's area, they have the fastest new trucks in SoCal haha Thank you!

    that is an interesting Curroto Can II

  • @3amrepmike3
    @3amrepmike3 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Wow, I've been seeing this Heil in the yard every time I pass by but never knew where it ran. (thought I only ever saw 1 of them) Interesting that they still use that Curotto Can. I knew my yard had the demo one but I believed it to be long gone by now. I always had a hunch the Python did the Turn Key routes too lol so that's neat that I was coincidentally right about that. How'd it feel to film a Curotto operator who went out of his way to FLIP the lid son carts as opposed to keeping them closed? haha That's one cool quality about my yard. They go out of their way to flip lids here, especially on rural routes.
    They had another former Newco route just like this in Temecula just southwest of the main city in the hills. I finally got the chance to head up there a couple years ago just to find out that CR&R had taken over just weeks prior.
    Anyway, cool video, you beat me to it :P

    • @WMmaster626
      @WMmaster626  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +3amrepmike3 Felt way different than Baldwin Park, that's for sure :D Very fun to watch especially with how he would let the carts go as he took off. MoVal's trucks are freaking awesome, I discovered so much cool stuff during the yard tour that I never thought they had! That Newco route by you might have actually been CR&R all along. A driver said CR&R got part of Newco's assets when they sold out. Haha thanks!

    Great video! I had no idea those Curottos existed so I was confused when I saw the thumbnail haha. Are they able to order new bags to put on the frame? Because it seems really easy to puncture. And I didn't expect to see the old logos on a new truck like this one. I'm still hoping to see these up here.

    • @WMmaster626
      @WMmaster626  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Northwest Refuse Thank you! Haha that was my same reaction when Kevin showed me a picture of it. I believe they are, but this one's close to five years old and hasn't been replaced yet. Might want to double check with Kevin if you want additional info on this Curotto. Haha me too, WM could use some Heil FLs up there instead of McNeilus.
