Love the growl of the crocodile! Love that WM SD is still keeping it cool!

Great video WMmaster626, this is a great visual documentation of WM El Cajon. I'm glad you caught the Amrep Curotto Can before they removed the Curotto Can. Raphael sure knew how to operate that truck, the dump cycles into the hopper sure were fast. You could not have a El Cajon compilation video without a carry can either, I'm glad they kept that method around for as long as they did. That sure was fun finding Francisco in the dual axle Curotto a few months ago, that was a blast! No shortage of Curotto Cans in the video and I'm glad you found a Crocodile, those sound great.

Thank you! Sure had a lot of goodies down there over the years! Raphael was great in the FLs! Will miss seeing him in those now that he has an ASL. Had a great time finding trucks down there with you, hope we can do it again soon!

Great compilation Aaron! Looks like a fast operation down there, looks like a lot of fun! Those side pipes on the trucks are so cool. The crocodile at the end was a nice surprise!

Great video sir! Wow that ACX Curotto was fast, I can’t even imagine that thing at full speed but it stinks that the Curotto was having so many issues. Out of the three LE Curottos featured here, I honestly can’t choose a favorite. The 1.5 on 263271 was just amazing, but at the same time the driver in 263278 ran that truck quite well. Even though I’m a big Curotto guy, my favorite truck had to be 1010455 just because I’ve always enjoyed watching Croc’s, and its so nice to see one still alive and well. Nice video once again, a fave for sure!

Thanks man! Yeah that was the fastest I ever saw that truck move which is why I stopped to grab some clips haha. In the past, the arm was not that quick but I'm real glad they sped it up. Haha I definitely wish 271 moved as fast as 278! The old driver of that truck revved it which really kept things entertaining. Yup! Those Crocs are really entertaining, hoping to see a fast guy in one before they are all gone. Thanks again & appreciate the comment!

This yard still manages to keep a great variety! 263271 is so funny looking, you expect it to have a traditional sticker but it has the Think Green one lol

Yep! Huge fan of this yard! Haha I really like how they refurbished a bunch of Wittkes over the years!

Sick video Aaron! Don’t think I’ve ever seen a Curotto can fly through a route as fast as I did with the first Autocar in this compilation so that was definitely a treat. Along with that I very much enjoyed seeing the older Macks especially Francisco in the Carry Can - smooth operator with plenty of dump cycles which made it all the more better. How often do they still run the Think Green Wittke and how many Crocs do they have left? I’ve always wanted to make a trip down there to film some of this stuff but never got the chance to. Hoping they’ll keep a good amount of Macks into next year but with some of these yards you can never really tell. Thanks for filming this!

Thanks Eli! Raphael always kept things entertaining in the FLs he would drive! I'm actually not sure if they still have that Think Green Wittke unfortunately, but if they do, it was going out quite frequently around the time I found it. Practically the frontline spare but not sure what has changed since last January. Still a few Crocs around, at least 3-5 so still got time to catch one. Worth it imo! Sounds like the Macks are sticking around a tad longer, haven't seen any replacements being built yet. Thanks for checking out the video!

Great video dude! Shame the Amrep currotto got pulled, although I’m surprised it stuck around on residential as long as it did since I’ve always thought Amrep FL’s were the superior of commercial trucks. That carry can was neat, I enjoy how the put the lever for it on the arms itself, did the truck show up with that or was it put on by WM? Idk why I never noticed that until now. Think Green, Think Clean wittke looked badass too! Hopefully they keep that one for awhile. Shame you couldn’t find a louder crocodile, still sounded awesome though, such classic trucks to San Diego those are. Shame there’s so few WM LNG Macks around anymore, those will forever be the image I get in my head when someone says “Old WM truck” lol. Glad you’ve caught so many of them over the years.

Thank you!! A shame indeed! He moved real fast in it! I believe all resi Wittke FLs came with those installed, I remember the diesel LE/Leach FLs that used to roam the SGV had those on them even though they were always hooked up to Curotto Cans. Yeah 455 sounded really good when driving, just too bad the driver didn't rev on the arm cycles! I agree, the Macks from the early 2000s will likely always be my favorite WM trucks ever built. Appreciate the comment bro!

Great video dude! San Diego has always been one of my favorite WM yards in CA. It was such a great variety and loved seeing the Mack’s. That carry can was really fast and the curottos weren’t that bad. That Crocodile was definitely my favorite even if he didn’t rev. Raphael is a really good operator in that curotto. Do you know if the Loss of El Cajon will be cause the Mack’s to be scrapped? Great video overall can’t wait to see what else you have!

Thank you! Same here, love the Macks! I was glad the Croc's arm still moved at a decent speed even though he didn't rev. Was hoping to find a guy absolutely flooring it but those are insanely hard to catch. As far as I know they're keeping everything until new trucks arrive to replace the last of the Macks, but haven't seen any new trucks at the factory so it looks like they're safe for now. Thanks again man!
