    i have scalp psoriasis and have always been made fun of because some flakes may fall off onto my clothes. i have had many times where i have been scratching without stopping causing scabs to form. i have always been ashamed about it. to know that there is a channel that is able to share videos like this is amazing. Keep up the great work.

    As this video seems to grow in viewers many misinformed people are pouring in... I'm not balding, I'm not in pain.... I know what a dermatologist is and I am treating my scalp how I want to treat it. I know how to take care of myself but thanks for all the concerned thoughts.
    What I am scratching is dandruff. Yes, I may have a medical term for my scalp...but the end result of the flaky dead skin is still called dandruff last I checked. Link for the so-called geniuses www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/seborrheic-dermatitis/symptoms-causes/syc-20352710
    And can't believe I'm even stating this: I shower everyday and wash my hair every 2-4 days depending on my scalp. So my hygiene is fine.
    As always thanks for watching 💕 💗Like & Subscribe 💗

      This is not dandruff. This is seb dermatitis also called cradle cap in babies.
      This works wonders - Your favourite conditioner plus some apple cider vinegar(with the mother). Put on scalp, cover with plastic cap, leave it for 45/1hr then wash out. You'll be shocked at how quickly this works. Repeat when symptoms appear.

    • @girlflakesworld
      @girlflakesworld  6 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Janet H I don't know according to the Mayo Clinic the dead skin that accumulates is still called dandruff www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/seborrheic-dermatitis/symptoms-causes/syc-20352710. But what do they know. Nonetheless thanks for the tips 💕

      This is actually scalp psoriasis. I have it too. So itchy..and the sores. Castor oil or any natural oil makes my scalp not flake up.

    I’m seeing a lot of people say Apple cider vinegar and THAT IS KEY TO DANDRUFF like this. Trust me. I have scalp psoriasis. I used to get big flakes like this, be embarrassed, and lazy to do my hair bc dealing with it was overwhelming. There’s a shampoo called Nizoral. My doctor at the dermatologist place I go to prescribed me it and in 1wk the dandruff was going away. You can get it at Walmart or any drug store honestly. The bottle run about $12 but it’s so worth it. I also invested in a good oil and oiled my head almost everyday to avoid dry patches. PLS PLS PLS do not get discouraged. When you’re trying to remove dandruff, do not use a rat tail to comb your ends bc you were pulling hair out. Try to lift dandruff with a rat tail comb but use a wide tooth comb for ur hair.

      Zoe Liedeman parents usually do that if you have long hair and stuff cause sometimes you scrubbing it doesn't take off all the dandruff so they take extra measures by taking it out before you go out of the shower. So when you go inside the water removes the dandruff.

      Try using 2 tablespoons of organic apple cider vinegar. Mix with 1 cup of water and spray in the scalp. Let it sit for about 20 min. These balances once skin PH level. A body with dandruff. Lice. Eczema. Any skin condition is due to high levels of acidosis in us. From radical cells that's gives us inflammation and these symptoms.

    Hi girlflakesworld. Try sectioning your hair into 4 parts. After deflaking the section use water with your favorite hair conditioner in a spray bottle to spray the ends of your hair to help detangle the hair so that you may comb out easier.

      bjoyful331 I shampoo her hair when its gets all soapy I’ll pour straight from the bottom apple cider vinegar on to her hair then I rinse it then I wash it a second time and with just water and ACV and Concentrate on her scalp where she more need it at then I’ll deep condition her hair and let the conditioner sit to get rid of the ACV smell I wash her hair once a week took about 1 month for it to go away never came back
