as a cos player, while creatures of sonaria is sort of similar to dinosaurs, it is actually based around mythical creatures. while some of the creatures are dinosaur themed, they aren't actually dinosaurs.
Yeah, though, the creatures are based on animals and any other sorts of creatures designers can come up with. It isn't solely based on mythical creatures, heck we have a damn lerachu and it's based on a leek.
I can confirm as well that it isn't really a dinosaur game, it's simply a game that people can come up with creatures of whatever.

Good list, but I just wanted to share a few thoughts about it, even though this was released in 2021, if that's ok?
Even though I did agree with a few on this List, some of em weren't even dinosaur games, such as Malgamation's island, Planet Inzutania and CoS. A few other games, such as Ancient Isle, Terror's Past, and Era of Terror (The currently in development revamp version) you could include those to bring up more awareness and hype to those games too, nothing wrong with including other actual dinosaur games to the list, it actually could help other devs too and bring them motivation.
Even though Cenozoic Survival isn't necessarily a dinosaur game, it sure has organisms from the Cenozoic era and a few that have lived to the present, which kind of breaks the usual mold of mesozoic (dinosaur) survival games (which we usually see) and I like that.
Now, there was one game that used to be good but not much anymore, Dinosaur World Mobile. If it had stayed the way it once was, it would've been significantly better to what it is now (gameplay-wise). I think a suggestion, even though it's already too late for that, for Dinosaur World Mobile, bring back some of the stuff the way it was and even the animations (I feel like animations were far better at the time), however update the models to their more accurate reconstructions, which they have been doing so that's something that is consistent.
Just the one gripe I have with some other lists (not anyone's fault but I do see the reason why its included), Creatures of Sonaria being included as a dinosaur game, as well as Malgamation's island. Sure, some creatures in the game have some resemblances to the real mesozoic organisms, but they aren't, as they are mythical or fictional creatures mixed with real aspects (although CoS nowadays just makes random creatures that I don't even know what they're supposed to be)
Those are just my personal thoughts and I hope you do very well AQtheGamer!

I need ur guy’s help. I played one of these games, but only remember vague things about it. There was a creature called a hopper, that looked like a bunny, and when you were an aquatic animal, it had crab npcs you could kill you could have/eat ur baby’s as well. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t dinosaur world tho

Malgamtions Island, Planet Inzutania, Creatures of Sonaria, and Cenozoic Survival are not dinosaur games. Sure 3 out of the 4 have similar features to dinosaurs, but are more alien like, not dinosaurs.
