My grandpa taught me this song in the 80s. He was a radio operator on a tank in the 7th Panzer Division. He was often personally a guard in front of Rommel's tent, also for Dr. Mauss and Papa Hoth - he values them very much. Grandpa - thank you for the wonderful time with you, miss you and the boys of your generation!

From a purely military point of view, the German armored forces in World War II were indeed a brave and highly flexible professional group. This song is very famous among Chinese military fans, it is a great marching song

I also pointed out this was used in the Movie Battle of the bulge and other youtubers posting different versions. Then youtube unflagged it as hate speech. They are singing about their tanks. This version shows the various tanks used in WW2. Very rare photos of Panthers, etc actually doing what tanks do.
