Yeah they have a lot of great things going on and consumer reviews are only going up and are doing very well in regards to the Telluride, G80, Palisade, Sorento, etc to name a few

The GV80 is a game changer in the mid-sized luxury SUV market. I've looked at all the mid sized SUV's and Genesis really knocked it out of the park with this vehicle. In Canada a X5 or a GE450 with the similar options sticker for 10-15K more. I thought after 4 years driving my '18 540i MSport I would have moved over to the X5 but after seeing the GV80 in person and driving it I couldn't see buying anything else.
I recently got G80 2021, I drive mainly in city area and do not see the need to buy SUV . Genesis has come a long way and I am happy with the decision.
We've had our Cardiff Green, GV80 Prestige for two weeks now. We live in Colorado Springs and drove to the Telluride Fall Classic auto show last week. In a lot full of McLarens, Ferraris, Porsches, Bentleys and many beautiful classic cars, it was amazing how many people wanted to talk to us about our Genesis. Joe, you failed to mention why the car is so quiet inside - active noise cancellation...just amazing! Also on the freeway the adaptive cruise control coupled with excellent auto lane holding makes this a great hands off self driver. Off the chart great value, especially if you can get the car from a dealer at MSRP as we did. Good luck, though as most dealers are putting up to a $15k premium on the GV80.
That hood manufacturer emblem into the hoodlines is probably my favorite design aspect of this. Just reminds me of a jet cutting through the air and the lines coming off the wing tips, slicing and dicing through the air
Wow huyndai stepping up I own a veracruz this is all lot nicer still a huyndai I remember people use to say it's just a honda but look at honda today one of the most reliable cars on the market. I think that's where huyndais going.
I’m convinced that Genesis packs the biggest punch regarding value and features for the price out of any non-exotic car manufacturer. Takes down MB, BMW, Audi, and Lexus. Again. Value…while still being incredibly stylish. Holy cow. I’m personally only in the market for an EV, but there are talks of a GV90. Full size, all-electric Genesis SUV. Sign me up.

There’s a dozen other examples. Yet a Kia Forte can get cooled front seats and a heated second row. You’d be surprised for sure! Lol
I love that before every car review the camera focuses on you and you give us an interesting backstory and really helps us get an understanding of the car. Then the camera refocuses on the car and it's all about it. Earned a sub!

I got the first GV80 in Sarasota, Alta White Prestige and have over 500 miles on her and love it. Only a few minor design suggestions, but the vehicle is on point. It catches a lot of eyes as it's a new look.

The attention to detail... Look at how the diamond cut seats match the grille... Smooth and Subtle. As well as the front LEDs wrap around the side at the same level as the blinker behind the wheel-well.
Did GENESIS improve the paint quality since 2019? There was a class action against them regarding paint issues before until 2018. Looks like an amazing SUV.
No third row is a deal breaker for my wife who loves every other aspect of this vehicle. We will instead probably be looking at a loaded Telluride or Palisade.
Wait...I just looked on their website. This green GV80, which is basically as fully loaded as you can get has a sticker of $72k. BUT!!! They have an internet price listed as $60k!!! Holy crap, that is a steal!! Someone down there in sunny Florida better get on that deal now!
Fantastic review! 😍 this is my DREAM CAR. This has the complete luxury im looking for as well as functionality. Like you said I do wish they changed small things like the glowing Name on the inside of the door like some of the other competitors. The massage seats are priceless! Your back hurts driving ALL DAY sometimes. The 3rd row would have been over kill in this vehicle so I do appreciate the folding seats as I do alot of grocery shopping. The Dash vents I did not like at first because it's seems so boxy but you showing the navigation really just beat me using a car vent phone holder lol the wheels aren't my most favorite. I like the g80 sport wheels better but I could live with these wheels they just aren't my favorite at all. The Back seat center console had me surprised I thought it would have more hidden compartments other than cup holders. Overall it absolutely GORGEOUS 😍 ❤ I CANNOT WAIT TO BUY MINE

Sweet ride! I would call the interior styling exquisite! Very good review. Personally I would have liked to see less time spent on things like the curvature of the headlights, tail lights, hood, etc. I would have liked to hear a little more about the tech. Does it come with adaptive cruise control? Lane keep assist? I love the lane changing cameras. That's next level. Thanks for the review.
mpgxsvcd but this vehicle is way smaller than your Ford Expedition. If you drive an Expedition, maybe you will find this SUV a little bit too small for your needs.

I think it would be a good addition for you to start letting us hear the sound systems as well. Literally no other car reviewer is doing that. I’m a musician so I like to get it crackin’ anywhere I got 😁

Sweet ride! I would call the interior styling exquisite! Very good review. Personally I would have liked to see less time spent on things like the curvature of the headlights, tail lights, hood, etc. I would have liked to hear a little more about the tech. Does it come with adaptive cruise control? Lane keep assist? I love the lane changing cameras. That's next level. Thanks for the review.
I really like our Ford Expedition with the eco boost engine. However, this vehicle is SOOOOOO MUCH better for about the same list price.
mpgxsvcd but this vehicle is way smaller than your Ford Expedition. If you drive an Expedition, maybe you will find this SUV a little bit too small for your needs.

@@lucashuang637 to be fair they gave us $10k off the sticker with 72 months of zero percent financing. That did sweeten the deal a bit but this vehicle is better.

Two questions 1st does the trans selector knob push down to prevent accidental hitting it or moving it possibly into another gear ???? 2nd what is the difference between the this and GV70 awd
