another downside when fitting an aftermarket amplifier of that kind is that i`ts a dumb amplifier and those kind of speakers rely heavely on DSP and psychoacoustic effects on the bass region to project the sound of a bigger speaker in that small size you can play in the future with some amplifiers with dsp ,you have on alixpres some boards with 4 channels capability and with a bit of practice you can restore the speaker to i`ts full potential cheers bafta
I am amazed at how many of these zeppelins have failed especially as the cost of them is so high. Cheap components used. I had a 40 year old amplifier which I gave away still working yet my zeppelin air died yesterday just started popping and buzzing then went into safety mode and nothing I did would make it work.. I've removed the speakers and sent the rest to recycling.. I will never buy bowers and wilkins again..
