ZTE Carbon™ Tubes are a precision product that is commercially produced. These tubes are an excellent choice for structures requiring dimensional stability. They are engineered to have essentially no residual distortion (hysterisis) in elongation, bend or twist after exposure to high or low temperatures thanks to our process in which we thermally cycle each tube nearly a dozen times from temperatures as low as -13 F to +284 F. Our round ZTE Carbon tubes are guaranteed to have CTE less than 0.1 parts per million per degree Fahrenheit for elongation but typically have less as Keith notes in the video. But you may have a preference for the value to be positive or negative. We offer three tube products to choose:
• Slightly positive CTE tube with plain weave outer layer
• Slightly negative CTE tube with unidirectional fabric outer layer
• Slightly negative CTE thin-walled tube with a plain weave outer layer
