Nice i was actually waiting for the update sct410 to make it a 2.0. So how does the sl handle vs the 410.3. And how would you think the 2.0 would handle again those 2
Thanks for watching and commenting! I’m still pretty new to racing but box stock setup the SL handles much better than the 410.3. The SL seemed to have a lot more off the throttle steering which I like being a newer driver. Our local track at some points has some narrow turns and lanes so that helps. The 410.3 was still pretty good at this as well though and was more intended for dirt tracks. Our local track limits 4x4 short course to 2S with it being a heavier rig usually have to go for some good quality racing electronics (esc and motor) to get desired speed… if you can run 3s this might not have been an issue. I feel the SL will still be very competitive quick and nimble just not as durable (mostly bulkheads). pro star is coming out with aluminum bulkheads so that will remedy that issue. Local guys at the track run 410.3s and SLs and really depends on the driver and the day both quality competitors. I think the new 2.0 will be great prob just a better version of the 410.3 but I have really enjoyed my SL this race season. If you can run 3s I would go with the 2.0 if you want quick and nimble go with the SL. hopefully will get some run time in the next few weeks when the 2.0 arrives stay tuned!
Great Video, CCRC! The SCT410 2.0 is a great platform for a heavier SCT (outdoor racing). Although it's not a direct cousin of the EB48 2.X, some option parts are compatible (like the suspension holders). The stock blocks all have steel reinforcement inside the plastic...so much more durable and cost effective for Tekno/replacements. The motor mount is a tough one...I'm not a fan. Although I like the enclosure (for the bashers) it's not my favorite to change a pinion gear, as you have to remove at least half of the center diff/upright/motor mount to change a pinion. Also for those running 2s/4600/4300kv motors, tempo recommends 15t (smaller tracks) /16t pinions (larger tracks). The motor mount is not capable of running 15t. You'd need the soon available upgraded motor mount to run anything outside of a 16t-20t pinion.
The tekno sct410.3 was my first build as well. It’s been the best cat after minor upgrades. It never breaks. Can’t wait to get my hands on one of these
yeah for sure! got mine ordered but will probably be week after next before I get mine. I'm east coast and its coming all the way form Amain in CA lol. Thanks for watching and commenting on the video!

The only thing i have broken on my sct410.3 is the A block. On the sl, same broke on the ET410, front bulkhead 3 times. Great cars from Tekno.
For sure! Pro star has aluminum bulkheads for the SL then it would be durable. But mine has held up great so far bulkhead wise. Thanks for watching!
