I've found, amusingly enough, one can easily use the Boros to destroy the Boros. Lightning Helix, Warleader's Call into Archangel of Wrath eats aggro alive.
With esper, I just find waiting for the right time to stop what ever they are doing wins everytime. I’ve seen 3 different types of this deck. One with more planes walkers.
I find it amusing that in the set review, you're like 'run only one or two Assassin's trophies, because giving them land in the early game is bad', and here you are running four. xD Is it just because you're tired of Go for the Throat and Tear Assunder?
Assassin's Trophy, much like Field of Ruin/ Demolition Field is a good choice for basic land checking opponents. You'd be surprised how many don't run any.
Today I logged in to do my daily laddering, and ran into 6 monoreds and 3 boros Convokes. Did my BU dailies, but those were every single matchup. I understand the standard burnout.
CGB, Im here to plug my same Barbed Servitor pitch, since you went for Golgari here (I run Abzan). This thing is a bomb with March of the Wretched Sorrow.
@@Asiis I mean, that's the heuristic. It doesn't really work in Bo1 because midrange decks really depend on their sideboards to tune their threats and answers to the matchup.
Golgari has been the most consistent archetype since Glissa and Sheoldred came out. The meta keeps changing and yet the literal same Golgari deck without changes has been my strongest build. 71.2% after 183 matches is so obnoxious. I am an aggro red centric lover but nothing comes close to Golgari midrange. I wish k could build a deck that worked based around Death Strike (1st strike+deathtouch)
I don't think the numbers dropped because of Golgari btw i think people all just net deck and durrr i need to win all my bronze matches maybe ill make gold lmfao.
Watching you crush that Boros deck into the reenact the crime deck was the most satisfying gameplay footage ever. The hero BO1 needs. 😎
I often love trying to predict the moment the opponents face asplodes after perfect plays like about when blocks were being established at 21:35. :D

Case in a slower deck is really good if you combine it with some battles to attack
