I couldn't agree more. Would that be so hard? I had one other table that I managed to unfold by myself and later on, I couldn't remember how I did it and also never figure out how to adjust the height so I've been using the default height like a Japanese style. Can't recall if there was ever an instruction. Now that's it's been 5 years and just bought another table, I was determine to get it set up right, finally. Lol

the clips on the newer models are a bit different but the method of opening is still the same so this video was still very helpful. just got one of these today.
Thank you for making this video, I was struggling to just get it open. Now I remember why I haven't used it after the last time when I tried to close it, I ended up with a black eye. To get those legs to a usable height I needed a pair of plyers to push in those tabs, however, when I'd get one pushed in the other one would come out. A simple job like this is apparently a TWO PERSON JOB! What a pain! Not a good way to start the day!
I know this is a little late, however for anyone that may still need this tip : You can try pushing in the button in more easily with a pencil, the rubber eraser side usually fits just about right, and kinda 'grips' the button to make it easier... once the button is even slightly below the lip of the outer metal, then you can pull up on the leg a tiny bit, say, 1/4" or so, so that the button is then firmly held by being INSIDE OF, and held inside of, the outside metal leg, and then, you can do the other side...

2023 ! 5 years after you uploaded this video. I have a version made here in South Africa. As soon as you said " they going to be pretty difficult to open the very first time" .... " they are going to need more force than that". I realized it needed some brute force, without worrying it will break. Hooray ! My table is open. And it has TWO clips.. It felt like a clam shell before and i had no idea how to open it. The box didn't have instructions.
