So just like in For Honor, cool.
Yeah well, that's For Honor. Straight-up sword fighting with not a lot of flashiness (at least since the beginning)

Well to be fair warden wasn't actually trying to kill the Orochi despite the AI when you fight him.
Probably means the Emperor's Champion Orochi could beat that same supernatural being.
I'm more surprised by the fact that For Honor universe there is actually gods and such.. makes Shaolin teleports look normal lmao

As a warden main and fan I can gladly say with 110% this is awesome and I'm getting samurai showdown to play him (and other characters that look cool too).

Charlotte mocking the Warden is funny enough, you're fighting a guy in a full suit of armor whilist your armor covers only your chest, You also have to fight him using what looks like what a musketeer uses compared to your opponent who's using a double probably sharp edged longsword which has more stabbing power. You also have to contend that he will shoulder bash you.
The musketeer sword is called a rapier

I wished they put in Nobushi in. Without her facemask. But I guess a Japanese speaking Germen Knight witch is the same warden as we play as in chapter 1, in the campaign. And also. Why the red-white color scheme? And not Blackstone: Orange/Yellow and black. Or the Iron legion?: Green Yellow?

From what I understand, Warden's story here takes place _before_ the events of For Honor's campaign, so he wouldn't be associated with either Blackstone or the Iron Legion by this point.

While I'm happy to see For honor get some representation in a "traditional" fighting game, especially one of my favourite heroes, I don't think SamSho was the right choice: the limited movesets and simplified, cartoony graphics don't really do the character the justice he deserves, and he comes across as a little generic to outside viewers, he *really* doesn't gel with SS's art style.
Don't get me wrong, I like Samurai Shodown, but Soul Calibur would be a much better choice, to say the least, as the deeper movesets allow more For Honor mechanics and Warden moves/executions to be incorporated.
As for a guest in SS, Nightmare, Sophitia, Taki, Ivy or some other popular Soul Calibur character would be more natural fit, especially since Haohmaru was added in SCVI.
And where's the "MISERUM!!" when he performs his shoulder bash? 😡
I understand all your points but I feel like his moveset is pretty well translated from For Honor into SamSho.

I don't think the "cartoony" graphics is the issue. (I wouldn't use that term to describe SamSho. But I guess it is right)
I think to an outside viewer he would look generic in any fighting game you stick him in. Even in Soul Calibur. Specially when compared to the knights the series already has.
It doesn't help that he is essentially a faceless character. You can kinda get away with somewhat generic armor with a distinct helmet, hairstyle, or face. Something Warden obviously can't do.
To be fair I think he would got here better than Soul Calibur since in For Honor you don't really do so much moves at once

For honor characters make sense with mortal kombat since they are both violent mature games but games with weeaboo esthetic should only have other weeaboo chatacters,that end boss is weak & it just looks like generic weeaboo stuff,watden is the only original looking character in this game(the rest is the sane that other weeaboo developers like crapcom,from software does which is having zero originality)these are facts.
