Did anyone else observe that Ghib san always asks for recommendations from stalls/ restaurants, then choose something totally different from the recommendations? Quite funny.

Hi Ghib, You got the best stall there; it’s our favourite food too👍🙏🏻😋.
Prices are pretty reasonable and the food is freshly made on the spot too.

Hi, Ghib. For the pan fried dumplings is usually known as (Guo Tie) 锅贴。When you ordered 饺子 ( Jiao Zi ), is usually understand as boiled dumplings. That’s why the stall owner gave you the boiled dumplings when you said “jiao zi”.

If you like this, then you should also try Shanghai La Mian Xiao Long Bao. At Alexandra Village Food Centre, #01-56. Always long queue. You won't be disappointed.

Ghib-san, nice to see you eating, it really stimulates my appetite for food. Maybe you can make a video to teach us how you keep in trim. For me even breathing will add weight. Hahaha!

You've passed by the Mongkok Dim Sum stall at 1800, which is currently closed as the uncle had back surgery. Do try their char siew bao which is super delicious and value for money.

Thanks, though I'm a local but I always pick up something from watching your channel. Have shared your video with my son who loves to eat lamien and xiao long bao. Will possibly make a trip there to try out. Any idea on their business hours?

Not only Hong Kong has local favourites such as Cantonese Dim Sum (yum cha), there are also chaa chan tian ( local tea houses ), there are also Taiwanese foods, Vietnamese foods, Thai foods as well as international western restaurants which one can eat at more lavish 5 star restaurants and hotels.

Actually #02-135 is famous for xiao long bao - they make about 1,000 pieces daily. Customers think their xiao long bao better than D.T.F. Omelette Chef used to sell herbal soup but they changed to egg specialty now. Thanks for live streaming. Now I know there are 3 beer hawker stalls in C.T.C.

In fact, I find Singapore and Malaysia to have the Best tasting and diverse ethnic chinese cuisines from hokkien or fujian, teochew, hainanese, hakka and cantonese cultures. This is unique in Singapore & Malaysia.
Hong Kong only has predominantly cantonese cuisines and Macao used to have Portuguese influenced cantonese cuisines. Now a lot of mainland china eating places have surfaced there and it is diluting their once famous and proud culinary culture.
