I have played this for years, but never played the fill/solo note for note. it would be great if the tab line was at the top of the screen so you could stop and replay without the red bar covering the tabs.
H Randall, Thanks for your comment. It is always helpfull to get tips! I don't prefer the tabline at the top of the screen, but I'll make some more 'white lines' in the future at the bottum of the tabs so that the red bar doesnn't cover the tabs anymore. Thx again, Pete

This is a great song to play for beginners but also for bassplayers with more experience this song has a lot to offer. if you’re a beginner I advise you focus on the basspart in the verse and chorus. Just stick to the maingroove (bar 1 and bar 2) and when you feel comfortable with it, than play the notes in between like in bar 4 and 5. When that’s in your fingers go to the interlude. Same here. I played bass (somewhat) many years ago but I’m mainly a guitarist. I’ve always liked John Mcvie’s style. Very fluid and elegantly restrained. This song is not so easy for a beginner (me!). It’s tough because as a guitarist, I know how simple this is! I feel like I should have it down immediately. But the fingers don’t quite work the same from guitar to bass. I’ll keep at it. Thank you for this lesson.

Hi fourb4nd, I play with roundwound strings, but I don’t know winch brand. This bass is relatively new so these are the original strings.
