Basil actually had a brother named thorn. Maybe he met up with him a couple times and introduced his pups after mouse died and Rosetta grew close to thorn

I used to have a German shepherd names Rosebud. (The vet said she was part wolf or husky.) But, she died in 2020. I love her so much.

Ahaha! I always choose that den! It’s my den before the den I stay at to go to the rendezvous! I call it the ✨Treacherous Slopes den✨. Mainly because I dropped a puppy off it by accident-

I use it too! It’s become a traditional den for my “Willow River” legacy pack, I call it the “McBride Silverkeep!” Though that name does fit it a bit better with my wolves always falling off of it at least once in their lifetime-
Poor puppy. I often have a territory around the Mcbride Lake area but I've actually never used that den🤔. Though my current wolf, Mole lives in the southeast..I think? At the first meadow area because he loves the open fields!

Maybe Rosetta will realize that since she doesn’t have a good sense of direction and has to stand her ground everywhere she goes, that may be what causes the dark moon to come out in her. Just a suggestion.
We have already have a Thorn, it was part of Parsley's litter, and Delphi is also an ancient Oracle in ancient Greece.

The ancestors cursed Rosetta with misfortune and a bad sense of direction as punishment for the bloodlust of her dark moon ancestors.
But as the lake pack invades her territory and threatens the place her pups will grow up, the familiar shadows that plagued her packs past are beginning to show on the heiress of the dark moon pack.
I fell in love with Bee, and Delphi when they were playing, the so adorable!

i would love to see where thorn goes in life, so this is kinda what i thought:
Thorn was a pup who loved the rocks and cliffs, although her mate Crete was not so fond of the boulders in which they made their den. She hated the fame in her pack because it was linked to her mother, and so she named her new pack the bright moon, so as to be different. she knew that if she ever had pups, she would look after 2 of them, a boy and a girl, although maybe more if there were a few strong ones. she was all about survival of the fittest (another reason she didnt like her mother), and was a prime example of that with her amazing sense of direction and stamina. one of her pups, she didnt care which, had to be called briar, bright or brightling, just to get the point of her being her own pack now into her families heads.
just a... fanfic? although its a great idea (in my opinion ;w;), and if thorn dies early, just replace her with one of her sisters XD

The pups are adorable!
To best hunt beavers you have to hold ctrl and wait when they get close hold shift so they can’t see you and you are in a leaping position, when the beaver is a few meters away run to it and bite it this will do a lot more damage then normal.
In my wolf quest game I had my den in the same spot as yours and I hunted beavers, just follow the lake and you will get to a stream next to a little hill when you go over the hill there will be another stream follow that to a beaver dam with a few beaver trails.
Ps: sorry if it is confusing it’s kinda hard to explain where the beaver dam is hope it helps though!

The den that you found near the river (I used) was very useful but it took a very long time to swim across the river to try and chase away enemies. it also stops the competitors from coming as often. So in general it was pretty awesome to den there. 😁

Maybe the territory scent posts could be used sort of as landmarks for an important spot in each hex, it could be useful, also love your videos and can’t wait to see the pups grow and how their personalities turn out!

I thought up another challenge: a wolf who can only navigate the world through scent view only. They can still monitor the map - to see how hexes they have - but everything else like hunting and scent marking can only be done with scent view on. You could even roleplay this as a wolf who’s blind, but despite all odds, they learned to hunt/find a mate.

I have an idea if you'd like to use it! If you find Rosetta really struggling and want to look at the map, how about saying that she can 'sacrifice' an animal to the ancestors for a vision on where to go. It would entail killing one ungulate or beaver (no rabbits!) and then not allowing Rosetta to eat from it, in exchange for one peek at the map! 😁
Some names I like you could use I the future : Forrest, Frost, Igloo/Iggy, Roman, George, Taytum, Breeze, Misty/Mist, Autumn ( and all the other season names), Crow, Torch, Robin, Sparrow, Venus, Leo, Nova
