We take on the role of a mother Lynx trying to raise her babies in a wild world filled with immense beauty and ever-present danger!
Join Seri the Pixel Biologist as we try out the acclaimed game Shelter 2, in which we will be play the life of a stunning mother lynx taking care of her litter of kittens and guiding them as best we can through the hazards of life. We'll hunt for food, protect them from predators, and do our best to navigate through the dangers of nature!
Will we be able to make it out with all our kittens alive or will we learn some harsh lessons about the reality of the struggle of life instead...?!

Wolves: If you hear howling, run as fast as you can to a high rock. Then jump onto it. There's a lot where wolves are (it should give you an option). The babies will jump up on there own. Wait until howling stops, then jump down.
Bears: Same as wolves, jump onto a high rock. The kits can follow you.
Eagles: If you hear a screech, an eagle will swoop down and pick up your baby. If this happens, chase it down, then pounce on it and it will drop your kit. After this happens, GET THE BABY FOOD ASAP.
Foxes: They will steal your kits, so kill them before they can. They will feed all four kits! If you just chase it, it will come back around and try again, like coyotes in WolfQuest.
I hope this helps any future players!
Also, although this is very sad, it is much easier to deal with only one or two kits. So keep in mind if you lose one or two, it will at least be easier to feed them. If you only have one, you can carry it around all the time, or when there's a predator. Then you don't have to worry about them getting left behind or not catching up.

I do have a question though: If I get the Shelter Two Mountain one before the Just Shelter 2 game, would it still work. Is it just the normal game with updates? If you could, please answer these questions
@Mitzy the foxes and eagles appear everywhere but the bears appear in the mountains. There also Polar bears in the tundra

Something's I know about how to keep you and babies alive
Find deer so all 4 can eat
Find a bird and 3 will eat
when babies are to hungry they well lay down and moan and you have to bring them a mole or rabbit, also you have to feed it to it directly or the others will eat it
If you here howling get to a high rock so wolves won't get ya
Deer are hard to get, so when there heads are down you stalk them as close as you can and attack, but if heads are up you have to stop moving or they will run away, save some stamina when doing this!
Also don't go into lakes or ponds you will drown loosing a cub, also drinking water or eating prey brings your stamina up
Also if you have the mountain DLC be aware of bears,foxes, and Eagles
Bears= jump onto high rocks
foxes= foxes steal your Cubs so run after them and kill it so it won't attack a cub
Eagles= swoop down and pick up Cubs, so attack the eagle when you hear the screech near you and when it lands taking your cub

Hey!!! Shelter 3 is coming in 2020!!! Unfortunately it isn't wolves, but it's elephants!!! I personally love elephants and am VERY happy to see a Shelter game where we have to survive in a group instead of all alone. ^^
Seri you keep your babies for what I can imagine a year, when fall comes start going towards the snowflake and be there by winter (Preferably unless your very speedy), there are wolves so a lot of people will discourage it but you should for all the little animals migrate there during the winter (Which is weird since its just as snowy) also that area has deer which the whole family can feast on!

Yup, it tells you to jump, but not how to just straight-up run by using shift, so it took a while to figure that out! :D

no they only come when you are in the tundra and there is no night it just looks dark when the wolves come.
Shelter 2 is so beautiful, I got it last night and the second litter I had, all four were healthy but I was running out of food and ended up losing one, it didn’t die and I managed to find it again, but there wasn’t any prey around and it ended up dying anyway..I was crying after that it was so sad, her siblings were there to witness it all too. It’s so pretty how their siblings wait with them till I get them food. I managed to save 2 kits before that from dying of hunger but sadly two of mine died in their sleep of hunger and I didn’t even realise.

watching this video was so calming and relaxing. i came back to rewatch, since i had just encountered a...stressful and angering situation, and listening to your voice, and watching the first pawprints of the story of Inna and her cubs was just...so calming.
i wish life didn't surround around stressful things. we have to worry about taxes, payment, our information, school, friends, family, and so many other things. i sometimes wish i was something else, like a lynx. life's hard, survival relies on smarts, luck, and determination, but at least they don't deal with the burdens of being human.
anyways, it was just..nice to rewatch this again. autumn's chilly mornings and colors gave me a longing for Shelter, Shelter 2, Shelter 2: Paws and Meadow.
This game had me crying at the end of series. I dream of a moment that I can play this.

Yay you are finally playing shelter 2. I think some of the things you will love about this game is the open world. You can go where ever you want, but be careful, there are a lot of dangerous things out there. Also there is the family tree, so when you are done you can follow one of your alive cubs life. Just like wolfquest in a way.
I love just rewinding time and coming back to watch all the videos i loved and was so excited for the next one. I look forward to your videos every day

I'm so pleased you're playing this, easily one of the most beautiful games I've ever seen. The game may be simple but the overall atmosphere in conjunction with its soundtrack is absolutely breathtaking...the ending in particular is beautifully done (several interpretations as to what it means but all are great ends) I've even had friends cry over it ^-^

I'm finding it hard to look after the Lynx cubs, as mother Lynx I have to hunt for food/Pray to feed the Lynx cubs and protect the Lynx cubs, I find playing as the Lynx cub on Paws game is easier then playing as mother Lynx on Shelter 2 game.

Oh and seri! After you raise your Cubs you can play as them and they can have they're own Cubs. It's like.. Generations! It's a lot like the wolf quest kind of deal with a lot more open and beautiful. And you truley get a bond with your Cubs
