LEGO BSBT 2024 feat. Glaskasten / Spalter Bockl

My BR 98 hauling a consist of BLV4 cars through one of the many branch lines at the BSBT in Schkeuditz near Leipzig, the largest custom LEGO train gathering in Europe. This event has now been hosted for the fifth time, and I was thrilled to try out my own creations on this huge set!
Starting off with one of my all time favorites, the BR98 “Glaskasten” (Glas Box). Partially inspired by a famous branch line train near Nuremberg that was nicknamed “Spalter Bockl” (The Goat of Spalt) it was one of the more prominent examples in Germany that utilized this particular locomotive. The locomotive performed really well and could pull a train with ease.

Dies war mein erster Besuch und da durfte einer meiner Lieblinge, die BR 98 “Glaskasten” (oder auch Glaskastl auf boarisch) nicht fehlen. Teils kennt man diese Lok vom “Spalter Bockl” eine bekannte aber inzwischen stillgelegte Nebenstrecken nahe Nürnberg wo eine Gattungsgleiche Lok zum Einsatz kam. Die Lok lief prima und konnte problemlos die Wagen ziehen
