Generally after getting the car serviced, mileage will get improved slowly and you are testing it without getting any service for a car released in 2023. 😀

I get 23kmpl on highway and 14-16kmpl on city with moderate traffic. I own i10 nios 2022.
if you drive around 80-90km/hr then it is possible on highway..if go beyond 100 then it will reduce...i get around 13-15 in city

The diesel was a legend. Will keep my 2017 Diesel Grand i10. It has never let me down and have taken it to pretty bad roads in the hills with full load.

I don't know the reason to get overexcited with these mileage figures but maybe from Hyundai users standpoint. I'm getting 14-17 Kmpl in heavy traffic and 21-23 Kmpl on the highway in my Tiago. I'm very much impressed to be honest.
Used both Tiago and i10. While Tiago returns 13 in city 18 on high way, grand 10 returned only 10 in city and 14 on high way

my experience is different...i get 12 to 13 kmpl in city (bad roads n bumper to bumper traffic) and 21 to 23 in highways in my hyundai aura

This model looks slightly better than pre facelift #Grandi10Nios model. Mileage is very good.
It also has a proper instrument cluster.. tachometer and speedometer with needles.. older one didn't look elegant
I am using grand i10 nios from last 6 months. I recently did mileage test. Driving at 80 to 90 km for 100 km distance it has given me almost 23 km at highway. In traffic it has given me 18 km that is without AC. With AC at highway it has given me almost 18 to 19. At city it has given me almost 13 to 14 km. The driving experience is far better than Tata n all.

I obtained a fuel efficiency of 24.2 km/l as per the MID. However, under real-life conditions, I am able to achieve an average of 22.7 km/l by driving gently and applying soft throttle inputs at a speed of 65-75 kmph. At the speeds of 80-95 kmph, the fuel efficiency drops to an average of 21.5 km/l and above 100kmph speed it return mileage of 17-18km/l. In city driving conditions like Bangalore, the fuel efficiency drops further to around 11-12 km/l.

Testing mileage on a car with just 250Kms on odo is not the right thing. My 2022 i10’s mileage has been improvising as it’s covering the kms. With 4 people and a ton of luggage I am getting 17-18kmpl on highways with speeds between 90-115 KMPH. This ll likely improve after 1st service at 10,000 kms.
The car should cross the break-in period for a proper mileage test and hence let’s not judge it with this video.
You are right shd complete 10k kms or Oil change has to been done.

How can you actually do a proper mileage test on First cut ? Never ever the first cut gives actual result !!
Why not brim to brim which gives best result !!
Company does not recommended to fill up the fuel upto the brim .
That's why all the popular TH-camr use auto cut method.

It will reduce its current mileage if they do.
Firstly the car will have better mileage after 2 services. Secondly please stop doing majority of the test in highways. Give us more realistic numbers. A person who wants to buy a car would like to know the least he could get too.
I use to get
1. Around 19 to 20kmpl in cities without AC on and not rising the acceleration more than 70.
2. On highways with AC on and fully loaded upto 5 people, and in any speed Iuse to get 18.5Kmpl. Without AC and with the same above criteria I use to get 21 to 22Kmpl.
3. If you cruise in more than 100 to 120kmph the average mileage will be around 16.5 to 17kmpl with AC on.
It's a truly fuel efficient hatchback.

You guys make a joke of mileage test. Petrol is never going to reach diesel hatchback mileage.
I own new i20 diesel & previously Tiago petrol. Any day it doesn't matter how hard or how easy I drive will never get same figures from petrol there will be 4-6 kmpl differences in mileage.
Driving At 80-90 kmph I will be getting 27-29 kmpl. I can show you the figures
16 mileage is not a great mileage, still diesel is king 👑 in mileage
For a petrol car with NA 1200cc 4 cylinder engine it is a good mileage .
