Me too, but i have to wait a little bit longer because It's not in New Zealand yet. I was thinking about buying the 3008, but i think i like this better. I just need to see if i think It's large enough. The only negative about all these amazing Peugeots are that none of them are AWD. Same for Citroen C5. It got me looking at vehicles such as Kia Sorento, which is actually a nice car, but not on the level of these new Peugeot's. Same for the likes of the new Rav4. I test drove that and it was pretty nice, but not outstanding.

Nice review. I also think the Blue dash lights are the best. This is making me change my mind about the 3008. I was close to buying before the whole Covid 19 saga, then i had to delay a number of test drives. I never got to test drive the 3008, so i still have that to do. If the 2008 is not much smaller, i have a feeling I'll go for this instead, but i think i am fairly settled on a Peugeot. They are just so well designed these days. I feel like they have jumped about 5 years into the future. I'm a big fan of concept cars, so the closer a manufacturer gets to one, the better i like them. I also do really like the Citroen C5 Aircross, but i personally feel that Peugeot are better looking, especially the interior.

If you find the trunk and space inside good than there's no need for 3008 when you can get this for cheaper price or with better options installed :) Peugeot are really doing great job, interior & exterior look so good and in last 2-3 years they did a huge jump forward I think

Great Video. I think the car is supperior compared to the juke or the captur. But you have to pay for that. I drove the 3 Zylinder 155hp with the AT. If we get better discounts this will be my next car.

Oh I see, here in my country (Croatia) you can have GT Line with 130, 155 HP Puretech and also this 130 HP BlueHDi from video. I think the blue will look awesome, saw the 208 in that color at last year’s Geneva Car Show and it was awesome. But this orange is also an eye catcher, and silver is among my favorite colors on cars in general and also the one that probably never gets boring 😀 so either of those 3 color would be a great choice, espacially in GT Line trim. And speaking about this situation - it’s true it’s crazy and people will need motivation for purchases like cars, and best way are discounts and different payment methods (in US some even offer 7 year pay off schedule with 0 percent interest rate!) But let’s just hope the situation gets better. stay safe ✌️
@@crospotter13 in England. Charge network is just about good enough and getting better. The e2008 has a 50kWh battery pack so good for around 270kM. . The e208 was a great drive so gone for the e2008 as it's a bit bigger.

This car is my dream. If only I could get a proper job and better conditions to afford this car. The prices spikes 2.5X on my country by goverment imposed additional taxes to ask for %240 cost of the car. I keep dreaming to one day own this car to freely drive with my girlfriend. hello, well 3008 is bigger car and also a bit more comfortable, but it is also more expensive. If you have the sources go for the 3008, but 2008 is also very good and great value for money as it is cheaper than 3008

But I think in your case 2008 seems like a reasonable choice, also you can put lot of options and stil be below the price of 3008
I am sold on this car. The only negatives for me are some options are not included in the middle package which I can afford, like rear view camera, keyless entry and adaptive cruise control. It's a shame these are either optional or only available with the GT version.
Isn't the GT the top spec model? The GT-Line is one below.... or is it different from the petrol models? I'm also wondering if you have to drop the steering wheel too low into your lap in order to see the cockpit in normal everyday driving.
Hello - GT Line is the top trim for “regular” models - that means you can get 130 HP diesel or petrol with GT Line package. And yes there is the 2008 GT and it’s the top model with 155 HP. Speaking of the steering wheel you noticed it right - I’ve put it too low for the viewers to see the full cockpit as my GoPro is a bit below my eye level which means when I put it in normal position half of the screen can’t be seen (but in real life you will see the whole screen or 3/4 of the screen in my case (I’m 1,87m) Hope this helps, if there’s anything else you would love to know let me know 😀

Je li navigacija precizna i radi li i bez pristupa internetu... Recimo ako postaviš da ideš u neku uličicu u Kozari putovima, da li precizno navigira do nje?
nisam inače fan automatskih mjenjača ali ovaj me stvarno ugodno iznenadio. U 2008 funkcionira stvarno jako dobro, preporučam test vožnju prije same kupnje ali meni je stvarno odličan (a kažem inače nisam neki ljubitelj ali taj EAT8 je dosta dobar posebno u ovom modelu i s ovim motorom)

Hello, I think with 2008 all version get the “3 tooth headlights” with LED daytimerunning lights, but ask the dealership where you’ll buy the car for confirmation of that😀 In my country’s configurator all models have it...

The 2008 & 3008 look really nice, design has greatly improved over the years. Was considering buying one but all the reliability surveys I have looked at give Peugeot a very poor rating compared to other manufacturers with similar vehicles in its class, so changed my mind now and going with a different manufacturer.

The fact that this Peugeot is rated more reliable than Toyota makes me seriously doubt that this survey is correct. There is no way any of these vehicles are more reliable than a Toyota. Ps I drive a BMW, and am not a Toyota fan just stating facts.
Don’t take too much notice. I have a 2008 Citroen C4 that has been soooo reliable and dependable! The reports might include silly little things like blown bulbs. I’ve found Peugeot Citroen to be very reliable!
How tall are you mate I heard if your over 6ft you will struggle and the 3008 is the better option is the interior the same on both models I love the blue ambient light
Hello mate, I’m 1.87cm (6.13 feet) and I felt comfortable. Question is - if you have 4 people onboard than it’s problably better to go for more practical 3008.

Thanks for the comment✌️ So speaking of the ambient lighting - in GT Line pack you get the “LED Package RGB” which includes 8 different colors of ambient lights, but to be honest with you I didn’t find where to change them as I only had car for very short period (I did manage to find profile where you have different color of the theme on dashborad and main screen which you can see on the video, but also changing the ambient colors itself should be available somewhere so explore that when (if) you go to the dealership to check it out 😀) And panoramic sunroof yes this car on video actually has it but since it was night didn’t get to show it. It is almost 1000€ extra on top of the GT Line trim though (at least the price in Croatia). If you have any more questions feel free to ask 😀
The colour change options are in the screen menus somewhere. Choice of 8 colours and random. The Pano sun roof is. Standard on the GT spec but a cost option on the 3 lower spec models.
Hello, LED ambient lights in cockpit come with GT Line trim. And 3D cockpit comes from Allure trim (GT Line also has it). So Actuve should have digital cockpit but without 3D shape and without ambient lights
Thanks mate! So the GoPro is a little below my eye level and I put the streering wheel in lower position, but in real life for me I can see about 3/4 of the i-cockpit if I want a perfect driving position so it’s good ✌️😄
tbh I don't remember as I had this car months ago, but I will get the new e-2008 2021 model on the test in a few weeks time so will check it and film it, stay tuned :)
It's a nice car, I've done a test drive but I don't like the driver's position because the steering wheel prevents visibility in the digital instrument panel ... I was try to change the steering wheel position but i couldn't find the best driving position to be able to have a good view in the digital instrument panel… Otherwise it is comfortable to drive and has very good spaces…

In the video you can see the whole i-cockpit, but it’s true that if you want optional driving position you will not be able to see the whole screen - in my case I can see 3/4 screen and that can be a bit annoying... But otherwise great car, feeling behind the wheel is great and I love the small streeting wheel feels good in hand
Dash obscured “.... a bit annoying”??!! That would be a No Sale, to me. Also, can you dim or turn off the RHS screen when driving at night? This panel should also sit lower, off the dash. Nobody wants to spend this much money and have a tablet just stuck up on the dash, as with Audi and others, also. Terrible design item.

None of them have it it is custom I think. I checked their configurator and it said nothing about ambient lights

I am sold on this car. The only negatives for me are some options are not included in the middle package which I can afford, like rear view camera, keyless entry and adaptive cruise control. It's a shame these are either optional or only available with the GT version.
Isn't the GT the top spec model? The GT-Line is one below.... or is it different from the petrol models? I'm also wondering if you have to drop the steering wheel too low into your lap in order to see the cockpit in normal everyday driving.
Hello - GT Line is the top trim for “regular” models - that means you can get 130 HP diesel or petrol with GT Line package. And yes there is the 2008 GT and it’s the top model with 155 HP.
Speaking of the steering wheel you noticed it right - I’ve put it too low for the viewers to see the full cockpit as my GoPro is a bit below my eye level which means when I put it in normal position half of the screen can’t be seen (but in real life you will see the whole screen or 3/4 of the screen in my case (I’m 1,87m)

nisam inače fan automatskih mjenjača ali ovaj me stvarno ugodno iznenadio. U 2008 funkcionira stvarno jako dobro, preporučam test vožnju prije same kupnje ali meni je stvarno odličan (a kažem inače nisam neki ljubitelj ali taj EAT8 je dosta dobar posebno u ovom modelu i s ovim motorom)

Hello, I think with 2008 all version get the “3 tooth headlights” with LED daytimerunning lights, but ask the dealership where you’ll buy the car for confirmation of that😀 In my country’s configurator all models have it...

The fact that this Peugeot is rated more reliable than Toyota makes me seriously doubt that this survey is correct. There is no way any of these vehicles are more reliable than a Toyota. Ps I drive a BMW, and am not a Toyota fan just stating facts.
Don’t take too much notice. I have a 2008 Citroen C4 that has been soooo reliable and dependable! The reports might include silly little things like blown bulbs. I’ve found Peugeot Citroen to be very reliable!

How tall are you mate I heard if your over 6ft you will struggle and the 3008 is the better option is the interior the same on both models I love the blue ambient light
Hello mate, I’m 1.87cm (6.13 feet) and I felt comfortable. Question is - if you have 4 people onboard than it’s problably better to go for more practical 3008.

So speaking of the ambient lighting - in GT Line pack you get the “LED Package RGB” which includes 8 different colors of ambient lights, but to be honest with you I didn’t find where to change them as I only had car for very short period (I did manage to find profile where you have different color of the theme on dashborad and main screen which you can see on the video, but also changing the ambient colors itself should be available somewhere so explore that when (if) you go to the dealership to check it out 😀)
And panoramic sunroof yes this car on video actually has it but since it was night didn’t get to show it. It is almost 1000€ extra on top of the GT Line trim though (at least the price in Croatia).

The colour change options are in the screen menus somewhere. Choice of 8 colours and random.
The Pano sun roof is. Standard on the GT spec but a cost option on the 3 lower spec models.

Hello, LED ambient lights in cockpit come with GT Line trim. And 3D cockpit comes from Allure trim (GT Line also has it). So Actuve should have digital cockpit but without 3D shape and without ambient lights

So the GoPro is a little below my eye level and I put the streering wheel in lower position, but in real life for me I can see about 3/4 of the i-cockpit if I want a perfect driving position so it’s good ✌️😄

tbh I don't remember as I had this car months ago, but I will get the new e-2008 2021 model on the test in a few weeks time so will check it and film it, stay tuned :)
It's a nice car, I've done a test drive but I don't like the driver's position because the steering wheel prevents visibility in the digital instrument panel ... I was try to change the steering wheel position but i couldn't find the best driving position to be able to have a good view in the digital instrument panel… Otherwise it is comfortable to drive and has very good spaces…
I agree with you. In the video you can see the whole i-cockpit, but it’s true that if you want optional driving position you will not be able to see the whole screen - in my case I can see 3/4 screen and that can be a bit annoying...
But otherwise great car, feeling behind the wheel is great and I love the small streeting wheel feels good in hand
Dash obscured “.... a bit annoying”??!! That would be a No Sale, to me. Also, can you dim or turn off the RHS screen when driving at night? This panel should also sit lower, off the dash. Nobody wants to spend this much money and have a tablet just stuck up on the dash, as with Audi and others, also. Terrible design item.

After a test drive I found the steering wheel strange. I’m 183cm, and the steering feels like it’s on your knees. Plus I couldn’t see the dashboard.
