    apple was not the first to implement the stem design. It never was an apple copy. Also the watch is not a copy. There are a TON of luxury watches with that design with a 100 years of history.. Enough with this apple shitshow.. They have 1 thing better than the competition and that is their computers due to their chips. They destroy that advantage with ridiculous pricing and ecosystem only features.. Never copy that and Samsung is good.

    • @techwithbenefits
      @techwithbenefits  หลายเดือนก่อน +8

      The watch is definitely not a copy, but the "blade" design for wireless earbuds was, if not invented by Apple, definitely popularised.

    • @techwithbenefits
      @techwithbenefits  หลายเดือนก่อน +8

      And I agree, the chips Apple make are by far the best made at the moment and that's probably what is giving them competitive edge at the moment too.

      Apple in 2017 was first to revolutionise Truly wireless (TWS) earphones that go into a case that has its own battery and can charge the buds multiple times. Apple was the one to do right UX research that led them to retain the stem in thier first TWS even though there were no wires that would otherwise necessitate stems. Just like they did the UX study on the watch shape to be rectangular and not round. Rectangular shape gives more display real estate and still makes much more sense even on watches. Others like Samsung and Google both chose to do the opposite thing (TWS without stem and round watches) just because they didn’t want people to call theirs an Apple copy. Even though Samsung in particular has never shied from copying Apple since forever, they still want to stand out just for the sake of it from time to time.

      @@shivajeeee no. Stem was a thing on earbuds long ago. From the 90's ffs fanboy.. it did not revolutionize even tws other companies did that just not good enough, or as good as apple. With your logic apple revolutionized the circle since airpods are cyclical... Also the one copying is apple all the way. Copying android.. And not only that they do it ages after android and way worst than android. You can change the icon layout in 2024 ffs. You cant transfer anything with plug n play untill some time ago you needed itunes............ Apple is doing shit in pioneering. They did a couple of times and thats that. And keep in mind that Apple is making a phone and a pc. Samsung is building half the globe. Also i am not a samsung fanbooy. I have my share of every phone. Even apple. I am just not a victim. In a way though apple did reolutionize the meaning of fashion victim.. Have a nice day.

    Good overview, and I can see the benefits of the stem design. But aesthetically, I still prefer the beans. I just don't like the stems kind of hanging out of the ears. Maybe it's just me, but the rounded beans look more discreet and classy to me.

    For me, other ear buds are the best for fit. Samsung Buds 3 Pro are better for sound. For the fit reasons, their largest tips are small for my ears. Ive purchased 5 other ones on Amazon and their large ones aren't large at all. When moving around at work, eating, or talking, the buds become loose or fall out. We need better foam or silicone tips, and they'll be here soon, just have to wait. I use Comply on the AirPods, Beats Pro, and the Buds Pro 2 with no issues. Why Samsung made them smaller is beyond me.

    • @techwithbenefits
      @techwithbenefits  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @SaiMadhavPannala just because it has a triangle shape, doesn't mean the concept of a stem wasn't inspired by Apple.

    I cant see how its inspired from apple... the stem is very common in todays age and it looks completly different to the air pods imo like last i checked apple doesnt have 1leds, 2 the triangular shape, 3 the air pods are on ear instead of inear that that samsung went for

    • @nightcorechris3858
      @nightcorechris3858 หลายเดือนก่อน

    • @techwithbenefits
      @techwithbenefits  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I agree that the stem is common place, but Samsung the clear hold out.
      The point about Apple being right was more to do with things like the microphone and touch controls being better placed. The blade design facilitates much better functionality for both of those things.
      So the stem or blade is the right design for these, and unfortunately, Apple was right from the beginning about it is my main point

    • @nightcorechris3858
      @nightcorechris3858 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @techwithbenefits ah, I see where you're getting at and yeah for the most part they did get the position right faster than a lot of others, but it's not like samsung would have many places for the controls in the first place. There are three sides to the blade design, with one being covered. Then, they are on both sides of the blade while apple went with the single "side of a circle"🤣🤣 making the controls and layout completely different as there is also the sensor on the top of airpods whilst buds 3 don't. Obviously, this is all coming from just a user and not someone who takes deeper looks but isn't the airpods buttons on the bottom while the buds 3 are a little up the stem and also smaller? (button size) and waiting for samsung to put on a stem has felt like waiting for apple to have a native calculator 🤣🤣

    The biggest trick with these is that they don't cover loss and theft. Not only that you can't buy a replacement from Samsung or anywhere if you lose a single bud. As a random bud will not pair with the bud you still have. For these reasons alone these buds are garbage and you should stay far away from them. Trash warranty, trash pairing. They also fall out of your ear easily no matter the bud size. Only a third party bud would do the trick. Stay away from these overly expensive buds.

    The sony wf-1000xm5 buds are much better.
    I returned my galaxy buds 3 pro. The noise cancelling is inadequate/ bordeline transparency mode in some situations. Yes the sound quality is nice but they are shouty and fatiguing and the bass is meh, so they don't fit audiophiles nor bass heads. Controls are great and features are really nice, plus they look great. The microphones are THE BEST on a pair of Bluetooth headphones with the 16 khz wide band feature enabled. But they strangely cause overheating on recent phones and tebkets that support the "ultra high quality (UHQ) 24bit 96KHz) feature, which yes imrpove the sound quality but increase the latency by a significant amount, and yeah, supported devices become a furnace. Oh and yeah, one earbud sometimes doesn't charge and is stuck at 25% while the other is fully charged. And the anc and transparency modes have a shreiking static noise that comes on and off several times a minute, which is yeah, awful. All in all, great headphones but NEED REFINEMENT and are definitely not worth the 250 buck price.
