The amount of buttons (6 extra) are perfect for people like me that set it for inventory/skills keybinds.
I always set the extra buttons for those in games like in Apex, Fortnite, Valorant, Minecraft, etc, since a lot of games nowadays have a lot of keybinds which, in my opinion, can make your fingers on the keyboard a little bit tangled.

Awesome video my guy, been watching your vids for like a year but for some reason this is like my second comment on your channel. Mouse seems to really be a great bang for the buck and the fact that Roccat put a AR filter on the box is genius! They really doing some great stuff out there.

The versatility of the mouse and the capabilities are incredible. Having so many profiles you can change up everything about this mouse for every use case. My only concern is they better keep making it because this will become a requirement for every mouse going forward and....this is like the only one capable of this right now.

I use it for CAD on workstations I cannot install software so the macro function on internal memory is the best for me. A wireless would be cool and my go to mouse I think.

Just ordered this. I like how the buttons aren't all in one big number pad like other mice with many buttons usually for mmos. They are spread out. With the others I feel like I would click the wrong button. Its like 12 buttons in one big square. Hope it's as good as the reviews

Honestly nervous about buying another roccat mouse, my last two mice from them (Kone Remastered) have had major issues - both mouse wheels became erratic with days, and both developed double left clicks soon after. This mouse needs to last longer than a few months otherwise that's it for me.

Hi, thanks for the review video! Are there 'minimize active window' (Win + Down Button) and 'close active window' (ALt+F4) assignments supported as predefined function at Roccat Swarm program? Can any of side buttons assigned like that? If it is not predefined as a command, is it possible to assign these functions as macros to specific keys? I am asking because Razer Basilisk V3 is not supporting 'minimize active window' function in preset functions and it is also not possible to assign a macro for 'Win + Down Button' combo. I wonder if this is also a problem for Kone XP. Can you confirm? Thanks in advance.

Man I ONLY buy mice with this many buttons. It always surprises me how many people don’t do it but I map all of those buttons so that my left/keyboard hand only handles movement and the right hand takes care of everything else (grenades, abilities etc) so that I never have to quit moving while activating those commands.

I love Roccat's MMO mouse, the Leadr, and I always think if it has the shape of Kone Pro that would be great. And guess what, now we have Kone XP. Also about the price for Roccat products. I've seen their price drop a lot (like 50% or more) after like one year since they are released. If you can wait, they are absolutely worth it when their price drop

I'm astounded by how many mouse reviewers just like, ignore extra buttons. It seems like most "mouse fanatics" are just FPS players who don't know what the other buttons are for. If you play lots of genres of game (action RPG, MMO, shooters, etc) it's so nice to have more than 1 or 2 side buttons. I think people just don't get it and don't think creatively with how to assign oft-used keyboard functions to the mouse. Most mouse reviews are about 1) weight and 2) how the clicks sound. Which is the last thing I care about 😂 Anyways thanks for the review, I think I'm getting this one since my Roccat Leadr started malfunctioning and it is discontinued (best mouse of all time BTW).

Bottom line Is these mice are very similar to the G502... don't get me wrong I'm considering buying this product....
Now if logitech was able to make the G502 with a sub 80g weight... I think it would literally break the Internet... I think there's a reason why the G5 02 is such an attractive device... it fits almost in the Goldilocks zone of every attribute that's important on a mouse...
The G5 02 ways in it what 120 g or 130 g... if they were able to shave off 40 or 50 g by either making a skeletal frame or making a honeycomb design... i'm surprised somebody hasn't used AutoCAD and 3-D printed a brand new series of shells with the sole purpose to reduce the initial weight..🤦‍♂️
