But somehow somewhere someone decided to age everyone in OW in OW2, and a 26~28y/o street style character isnt as good selling point, so they changed it to 21yo without thinking

The lore explanation for why Kiriko isn't over 30 is that when she first learned of the Protective Suzu, she realized she could use it to prevent decay and entropy. She realized that by spamming it as often as possible, she could delay her aging and (more importantly) feed into her horrible eating habits for much longer than otherwise.
all jokes aside, people who are so lore obsessive tend to not at least to put some pieces together. what you said actually is plausible. i mean she has fucking powers and people are forgetting how it can actually work. they just have to use their brains lmfaooo, it can easily be explained by blizzard. people are just so sensitive
To be fair, Kiriko isn't the only problematic character when it comes to age. Also, even if she was spamming Suzu every 14 seconds, that's only slowing your aging four seconds per minute, which gives you four minutes per hour, and one and a half hour per day. She would be barely saving 23 days a year, assumed she's spamming Suzu in her sleep as well. That's not enough to make her look 21 when Hanzo is 40.
The issue is that wouldn’t actually change the age at all, just how she looks. So to match them for it to make sense, her age should still be in the mid to late 30s for it to make sense. Age has nothing to do with your appearance, it’s how many years you’ve been born.
Hanzo and Genji learn the way of the sword from the Kiriko's mother, this means, she is like 50 years old or more and probably Kiriko lie about her age.

Yeah, look, Kiriko’s the one with a spirit that makes her impervious to health problems. I’m pretty sure she’s older, but considering the Fox Spirit’s ability to do things like keep your blood sugar normal after eating three dozen donuts, she’s looking perfectly normal.
her behaviour is far beyond beeing older. Her appearance too. She looks like a teen and act like a teen so it is fine that she is 21~25.

The lore explanation for why Kiriko isn't over 30 is that when she first learned of the Protective Suzu, she realized she could use it to prevent decay and entropy.
She realized that by spamming it as often as possible, she could delay her aging and (more importantly) feed into her horrible eating habits for much longer than otherwise.

To be fair, Kiriko isn't the only problematic character when it comes to age.
Also, even if she was spamming Suzu every 14 seconds, that's only slowing your aging four seconds per minute, which gives you four minutes per hour, and one and a half hour per day.
She would be barely saving 23 days a year, assumed she's spamming Suzu in her sleep as well.
That's not enough to make her look 21 when Hanzo is 40.
The issue is that wouldn’t actually change the age at all, just how she looks. So to match them for it to make sense, her age should still be in the mid to late 30s for it to make sense.
Age has nothing to do with your appearance, it’s how many years you’ve been born.
Honestly with how little attempt they put into an explanation for kiriko's teleportation and fox spirit i can't say im surprised
Hanzo and Genji learn the way of the sword from the Kiriko's mother, this means, she is like 50 years old or more and probably Kiriko lie about her age.

Tracer literally looks like a twin that took a different path in life in Overwatch 2.
More plump less skinny overall the first tracer model was a stick figure lacking muscles while the second model is a testament to a hardcore workout routine and good diet the character may have had over a period of at least a year
In my books that counts as aging because aging is just the changes that take place in our body overtime not necessarily the appearance of being older or younger

We see in official art that she’s a small child when they’re preteens which still makes no sense seeing as how Genji is like sixteen years older
