Visiting this place is a good replacement for europe, this is phenomenal, as a history lover I can tell you that these details are made to stand against time.
Are you kidding? Clean? The owners of this house have hundreds of employees working full time to maintain this house. They dont have to lift a finger. They probably have an employee whos only job is to wait in the bathroom all day for them to shit and wipe their ass
Lol There are plenty of these in South Africa & they have existed way before your gran parents were even born. Most white South Africans are well off, probably better than you in ur so called 1st world country.
My mouth was literally open in awe throughout this whole video. What an incredible place! Owning a place like this is all a matter of perspective and scale. When you're worth close to a billion Pounds it is nothing unusual or surprising to indulge your fantasies in cars, luxury palaces and the like. Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal al-Saud spent $500 million on his own private Airbus 380. Does that make these people wrong or evil in some way? Why would it if they've been smarter than most others and earned their money through blood, sweat, tears and a lot of very clever thinking. What else are they supposed to do with it, keep it in bank vaults? What's the point in becoming rich if you can't spend it in extravagant and wonderful ways? In any event, I doubt that Douw, Carolyn or any other fabulously wealthy people lose any sleep over the gripes and snipes of petty poor people who just won't be gracious enough to acknowledge their success or earned right to live in this manner. I have nothing but respect and admiration for them, despite accepting that I will never have that kind of wealth or ability to live in such a palace. One of the reasons for that respect and admiration is the staggering amount of charity that more and more mega-rich people are contributing their wealth towards, 67 Blankets being one very small example, with 30 000 needy people having received a free blanket. How much do the gripers and snipers actually give to charity, truthfully?
*_I really liked your comment until you said "I will never have that kind of wealth or ability to live in such a palace". Remember, you are what you think about all the day long. Believing you can achieve all things is the first step toward wealth. Re-define your personal blueprint for success, build a stronger foundation, muster up the passion and vision toward something you do better than anyone in the world. Become highly focused and disciplined toward mastery of your task. Speak it into existence. Write down your goals and recite them outload every day into existence. Follow these steps to get your heart desires: 1) What is that I want? (Meditate) => 2) Can I clearly see what I want? (Visualize) => 3) Recite outloud what it is you want to program your subconscious mind to begin working (Manifestation) => 4) Reinforce the attainment of what you want by a relentless work ethic (Disciplined Work). Remember, you are what you think about all the day long. If you change your words you change your thoughts. If you change your thoughts, you change your circumstances. If you change your circumstances you change you destiny. Now get to work!_*

I thought this was amazing at first.....then I did some research WHERE it was built and by whom, felt sick to my stomach
Ceremony please tell
Ceremony
Why is that? What made you sick to your stomach?
Me too....
Very beautiful 💞 and with nature enclosed it's 👌
Another Awesome video Thanks Much Love ❤❤❤
You know, the winding waterfalls, in a sense, reminds me of the Colosseum, and since the estate was inspired by Italian design, I don't think that is too far off.
Those waterfalls are called aqueducts, and the ancient Romans use to use them. So...🤷♂️
I honestly don't see where this home feels homey at all. It's interesting, but I wouldn't want to live in this home,
tigergreg8 it’s literally cold and stoney with all the rock and marble. when they said “yet still managed to make it feel like home” i shuddered. it feels more like a hotel.
I will live there over my house any day
It’s yours. 😂
you real sound like somebody who grow up in the poor background
That's why you don't live in it
This home is simply Beautiful!
I mean you just have to appreciate stunning architecture.. Wether it is your style or not, this is gorgeous.
Very impressive...very special...South Africa..has many wealthy people...this Estate...is dream home..well done to the contrater...all local people worked here
This is what Khaled meant when he said "Suffering from success."
Mantaining this mansion must cost a fortune itself. Beautiful house.
For them its easy, perhaps changing things oftenly. They are rich.
Imagine breaking into this house and go
Day 6: No one has seen me yet
😂😂😂
Day 123: I joined them for dinner they didn't even see me
Lol and you are still trying to find your way out, as you’ll be lost too 🤣🤣🤣
Hats off to the ingenuity behind that water fall thing and the positioning of the house over the landscape....Am at loss for words...but i must say that library was my favorite part of the house too.
This is soo beautiful. I loove it!!
The most reason why i love Italians 1. Italian food of course 2.Espresso, ice cream & Tiramisu 3.Dresses, bags & shoeses 3.They hv got style, class, tastes, creativity & always on point👌 4. Awesomeness. The type of South African we should strive to become.
Little do you know? He is a notorious Womanizer with a nasty Cocaine habit!
simply amazing wow
This is really exclusive design. My most favorite house of my dreams. I really like it
Visiting this place is a good replacement for europe, this is phenomenal, as a history lover I can tell you that these details are made to stand against time.
Omg it must feel like living in a beautiful hotel but is it homely and cozy? No. Its ostentatious. Built for impressing and entertaining guests.
That's one man's house. How do you even clean such a house.
Are you kidding? Clean? The owners of this house have hundreds of employees working full time to maintain this house. They dont have to lift a finger. They probably have an employee whos only job is to wait in the bathroom all day for them to shit and wipe their ass
One room at a time
One question and only one.
WHY?!?!
Why not?
krome dome Because money
Because they can.
Because small dick
OH MY THAT'S MT EXACT QUESTION WHY!!!!!
Absolutely stunning! Well done.
Thanks for sharing.
Truly an inspiration.
Unbelievable ...... , what architecture , design and materials used to produce this majestic building
Oh a mock Tuscan mansion in Jo'burg North, how very original.
Jesus is your name? So original.
🤮🤮🤮
Caroline is so sweet and humble Lady
I would never have believed this is in Africa.... an incredible achievement
Lol There are plenty of these in South Africa & they have existed way before your gran parents were even born. Most white South Africans are well off, probably better than you in ur so called 1st world country.
@Zak Jansen read my comment again & make sure you put ur spectacles on
If this place was half the size and half the pretension, they could have actually built a real showcase of beauty and artistry.
So grateful for the wool blankets.
@@shotimemillionaire With all due respect I was hardly inviting a motivational speech. I've been around long enough to differentiate between reality and wishful thinking. I'm totally content and comfortable with what I've achieved in my life to date, more than many, many others in a number of areas.
You tell him grumpy cat... geeeeez the disrespect is beyond🤣😂🤣😂....
I want this kind of Money🙌 this is soooo beautiful
Join the ANC and steal from the tax-payer!
Such a beautiful house 🏡
Yoooo this looks like a Palazo from assassin's creed this is insane never ever thought South Africa could have Villas like this it's like they're somewhere in the Mediterranean
Oh thanks to the lady of the mansion. Well done madam.. I was once invited to a house showing by a dear lady in our church. She had just bought a house in the mountains. The house was hanging on the sides of the mountains like s picture frame hangs on the wall with bolts and knots drilled into the sides of the Mountains with any ground underneath the d house. You see the tallest skyscraper way down beneath your feet.
