So lovely. I speak "Parker" to my grandchildren, and it does make them laugh so much.
One of them cut his hand, climbing the fence. I picked him up and said i to him in my best Parker voice, "Ho dear, we will 'ave to clean it and put some hointment hon it.
Now, whenever there is a bump, scrape, scratch, or cut, you will hear a little voice say, "Grandad!"We need the hointment."
I am 61 now and remember Thunderbirds like it was yesterday.
    Absolutely brilliant.
I wish that they would show them all again. Even if it is to please us oldies.
Thank you for some lovely memories. 🛰🚀🗼

"Vault Of Death" was the very first Thunderbirds episode I watched back in November 1991 when I was 5-years-old, and it is without question one of my favourites, all because Parker is the main-focused character. David Graham is a brilliant voice artist, who gave Parker that distinctive Cockney accent - and Jon Culshaw, who provides the new voice of Parker in the Thunderbirds audio series, does it exactly spot on! :)

Parker's semi Lisp-Stuffy-Nose toned voice can never be forgotten, by me, from when I first heard it in the 1960's. Even today at age 70, it haunts my dreams sometimes. lol 👍👍 5⭐

Had no idea that David Graham was now 98! not many people deserve the word ‘legend’ but I don’t think it’s too much of a stretch to say that David Graham does 😊

It’s funny to think that kids watching Grandpa Pig on Peppa Pig, are hearing the voice of the original Daleks from the early 60’s!

I was fortunate to have lived in the UK back between 1979 to 1984 -- my father was USAF, and stationed on a US-Run/Borrowed RAF base in Oxfordshire -- and during those years, I got to watch a lot of great series on British TV.
One of which was "The Thunderbirds", which immediately captivated me with their futuristic aircraft, suspenseful stories, and incredible characters. Parker of course was one of my favorites! Always a great man, totally devoted to Lady Penelope and quite willing to aid her in assisting Jeff and his Boys.
What surprised me is years later, Mr. Graham was STILL able to provide the voice of Parker for the CGI series of "Thunderbirds Are GO!". It's a little different than his earlier performance in the Super-Marionation version, but the same charm and wit of the actor comes through!

My favourite Parker dialogue is from the 1966 'Thunderbirds Are Go!' movie, where (SPOILERS) The Hood is attacking a seaborne FAB 1 with a military helicopter, and Lady Penelope decides to let Parker shoot it down:
PARKER (watching his targeting screen) A little bit to the right, old son... (the helicopter is centred on target) Thank you very much (fires FAB 1's main cannon, and hits the helicopter, which crashes into the sea not far away, and explodes.
LADY PENELOPE (briskly) Well, I don't think there's much point in looking for survivors, do you, Parker?
PARKER (having respectfully removed his hat) (rather sadly) No, Milady.

IMO the reason Thunderbirds holds up so well is they treated it like a drama, rather than a puppet show, both in the writing and the acting.
