I do mine the same way, but I've found that a light mist of some hair spray before I even unbraid them, then let that spray set and dry helps the waves hold once I let out the braids too.
yes!! the light spray of hair spray or leave-in conditioner deff makes a difference💕

This is how I crinckle my hair, just french braid it at night. But that last part where you used a crinkle I thought would probs be pointless and but wow! Game changer! It really does make a big difference! Thank you for the tip! You hair looks amazing

I braided my hair in different sections like 4-6 braids and i put them overnight and when i opened them--TADA--they were beach waves...i loved them and i also got compliments from others !!
Was it permanent??

the thing is... my hair is way to thick and way to soft for curls to stay. with heat,no heat, i’ve tired everything and it doesn’t work. i have picture day tmr and so i did what u did but did 8 braids in all... any tips on curling hair that is too thick that won’t stay? also omg you are the prettiest thing ever. jealous.
Hmm... have you ever tried sock curls? (Sounds weird but I also have thick hair and it worked for me)
i’m not sure if you still need this but maybe using a ton of hairspray after using heat? i have super thick and strong hair that wants to stay straight, so i feel you
i have super thick hair but it’s naturally curly so that’s why when i curl it it curls easily
hey! omg im so late lol but i still wanna give some advice. my friend has the exact same problem! my aunt is a hair dresser so here is her advice: number 1: hairspray, hairspray, and some more hairspray! If your hair doesn't naturally curl, hairspray is the way to go. right after you finish your curls hairspray tf out of your hair. i recommend buying hairspray with a good scent. number 2: cut out conditioner. now I'm not saying to cut it out completely, but don't use much. if you already have soft and smooth hair you don't need much and it just makes it too slippery. my hair is very dry so I need a lot of conditioner and less shampoo. you need a lot of shampoo and less conditioner. conditioner makes your hair soft, not exactly shiny. instead, use a shiny hair serum to make it look nice. number 3: sleep with your hair in braids every night.(this is my tip not my aunts) this might make your hair a bit more wavy naturally. i hope this helped!

So I tried this and I cannot for the life of me do 2 French braids in my own hair, I can do one, and it worked out very good! I also LIGHTLY back combed the roots before I made the French braid! I have super fine blonde hair and I hate it but I woke up took the braid out and I’m so happy with the results!

Thank you for the video! I tried the French braid method and my hair came out nice. It was my first time doing French braids and I didn't braid them well, but the results were good to me. I also like the lipstick you're wearing. Do you remember what lipstick brand you used?

If you cant do french braids just take different (big) sections around your head and braid them. This way the top section of your head will be wavy too

Every time i try waves by braiding...the next morning when i take them out my part goes back wayyyy to far down and it looks like i have a bald spot. Hellpppppp
Maybe try doing a zigzag part?
I mean a zigzag when sleeping in braids and then a straight part after you take the braids out

You can brush your hair but it most likely will take the crimp curls out a little bit and loosen them. Try using a toothbrush to brush your hair lol I know it sounds weird but it's a good hack
