Spy In The Wild
To discover just how like us animals really are, animatronic spy creatures infiltrate the animal world to explore their complex emotions. Spy Pup makes friends with a wild dog pack to investigate their maternal love and has a dangerous encounter with lions and elephants. Baby Spy Crocs discover the extraordinary devotion of a mother crocodile and take a rollercoaster ride inside her mouth as she carries her babies to water. Spy Egret and Spy Tortoise are nearly trampled by elephants as they film a newborn baby sharing the love of his caring family. Spy Monkey meets a troop of over 120 unruly langurs and finds out how teenage monkeys comically practise babysitting skills. Spy Prairie Dog witnesses the most enthusiastic kissers in the animal world. Spy Chick discovers the extraordinary devotion of hornbills as a mother is imprisoned for the sake of her brood. In Antarctica, Spy Adelie Penguin becomes entangled in the penguins' turbulent love life as they fight to steal pebbles to impress a fussy female. On the savannah, giraffes are filmed for the first time paying homage to an old giraffe that recently passed away. Spy Bush Baby meets some curious chimpanzees, and Spy Tortoise is adopted by a five-year-old and is taken on a wild ride through the jungle canopy before coming down to earth with a bump. In a thought-provoking scene a chimpanzee shows empathy as he finds an abandoned wildcat kitten and adopts it as his pet.

So interesting how much like humans they are. Hugging and consoling each other, showing care and concern for the baby even though it's not theirs.
Cause we are from the ape family. We are just highly evolved apes.
@@stektirade But we, who are supposed to be the evolved ones, are playing with the feelings of animals and turning it into a documentary.
@@lavignie its called studies because we are the evolved ones. we also care for animals because we are evolved.
@@stektirade I already knew it. But sometimes it doesn't seem like some people aren't evolved
@@stektirade LOL. No we're not, they have 28 chromosomes, humans 26. Those lies came from Darwin.
damn.. they showed such close human emotion. its unbelievable
yeah mamals are very emotional specially species that form bonds
Humans don't have these anymore
I mean we are closely related to monkeys
did you think animals dont have emotions?
y know that monkeys exist WAY BACK before humans right? so its the otherway around
OK, so some people would say because people made the robot, they made these poor monkeys believe that a monkey died but there are reasons that it wasn't the humans' fault and why this was revolutionary
1. The monkey dropped the robot. The humans just made the robot but never intended for it to fall.
2. To see this kind of emotion that isn't our kind is beyond amazing because this proves that animals really have more human like feature than we thought.
i mean the money didnt really "drop" the robot, it descented it, to put it down on the branch. A baby monkey would have, you know, grabbed on, get solid ground etc
The truth is we got it backwards: animals don't have human traits, we have animal traits (for obvious reasons)
@@nadarith1044 honestly, great message. Because I can see what you mean, I 100% agree

"It's everyone's"
On one hand, it's so beautiful and sad seeing how they display emotions and grief so amazingly similar to humans.
On the other hand: couldn't they tell it wasn't real? From the way it moves or the way it smells?
They probably thought it's a very sickly baby. And when it doesn't react to things well and stops moving, you'd think it's a dead young
@@Geadsss Yup bro they surely paid the monkeys to act like that.

Likely they don’t know and can’t comprehend a robot dummy, that basically unheard and completely unexplainable to them. Heck even old movies like King Kong with it puppet stop motion was life like and surreal to people back then.
Aint no way your telling me monkeys cant comprehend that wasnt a real monkey but a man made electronic device mean to research them with high tech cameras, and hyper realistic synthetic monkey skin and hair aint no way but i though robot monkeys were a common thing in nature so dumb

How sad to witness that, I mean those monkeys showed a genuine sympathy towards the situation, how much that tells us about the beautiful side of life and the bitter side of death but without one or another we won't experience all of what we have seen in this incredible scene.

No they didn't. They didn't interfere at all.
They didn’t do it on purpose

@@philipwalsh7041 I believe there are 3 different scenarios here, just look at how different the ground is. I'm guessing they witnessed the initial reaction to the baby monkey falling and decided to recreate it a few more times in order to watch and capture more sad monke.
@@lollybowser there is only one correct one here, the spy animals are put it place to analyze animals easily, for example, this spy langur monkey. the fake langur monkey was put in place there to watch the real langur monkeys and learn things, but when one wanted to babysit it, they took it and then dropped it.
And no one got angry at the one that dropped it 😩😭 they're soo pure 😭
Well, to be fair, the one that dropped it probably thought it was going to hang onto them like normal baby monkeys do.
@@ascetic3312 that's true!

They seem to be confused by the fact that the smell does not match up with a dead baby. They keep sniffing it to confirm. 😥
A baby that was dropped won't smell like a dead baby right away...

Beautiful. Humans don't deserve this planet, we only destroy it.
That is so true... we are HORRIBLE STEWARDS OF THIS , OUR ONLY PLANET & LIKELYHOOD !!! NOT OTHER PLANETS !! SPACE CAN WAIT !!
OUR PLANET (LIKELYHOOD) NEEDS HELP NOW!! NOT LATER !! ALL EXPENSES GOING TO THAT !! Cuz our PLANET IS. US !!
Funny. I don’t think wolves, tigers, etc. care if they overhunt an area or if they’re prey is endangered. I’m also pretty sure that beavers don’t conduct environmental impact studies before building their dams. In fact, I only know of one animal on this planet that does or cares about any of these things:
Humans.
Yes, people have made mistakes with the environment, but we have also done an incredible amount of good. Humans are a part of nature as well, and to act as though everything would be bliss and utopia if we were to just disappear is both melodramatic and false.
@@Timelord42192 You're so right Alan - people who seemingly despise the human race as a whole aren't helping.
I concur, Humanity has its up and downs, but we still need to work on how we treat our planet. Our efforts have been relatively successful thus far, if you ignore the Amazon fires. Humanity has a potential the current system fails to realize.
