@@chalenejohnson I was sold on the HomeHub from the TikTok shop, the size and especially the foldable handle were the selling points for me. It was sold out and I could NOT find any other way to order it so I did some digging on Amazon and found one from Gywowken that was about the same as the HomeHub, maybe a little longer belt. It was $199 but free shipping with Prime so it all evened out in the priced dept, too! THANK YOU so much for this video reviewing the different models, you addressed many of the questions I had and even brought up points I had not thought about. I am so glad that I got one with the foldable handle, I am not the most graceful and coordinated of gals 😁😂 I do fine not holding on to it (even walking at 3.2 mph which is brisk for me) as long as I'm just looking forward at one point, but as soon as I look over at something else I'm needing to touch it to put myself back in line, LOL. As far as walking on it while working at the computer - I have to walk pretty slow for that - but it's still getting movement in this old body rather than just sitting in a chair all day. Anyway, I'm just loving it so much, it's so convenient to have it right here whenever I have a free minute, it's fun to use, I can watch something while I'm walking so time flies, it really removes all the excuses I've made! Thanks for all the work you put into researching all the things for us, I can always count on you to share the facts and your real experiences. And you really motivate me to make changes, even small ones, that are having a positive impact on my physical and mental health!

I just bought my first walking pad (had a massive treadmill in another room that was barely used forever) and it's a game changer. The fact that I can move this anywhere I want at any time, use it while at PC or playing video games or watching TV, I am FINALLY getting close to 10K steps daily after years of getting way less than that.

I've had a walking pad since I started working from home during Covid. It is a game changer for sure. Before I got mine, I was only walking around 1500 steps a day. I have one with enough foot area on the sides, so if I need to take a call while I'm working, then I can just step on the sides, take the call, then hop back on.

We paid $269 for a DeerRun Under Desk Treadmill, Folding Treadmills for Home 3.0HP. It weighs 60 lbs. Really love it so far and it’s cheaper to buy on Amazon. We live in a carpeted apt so bought one of those black gym pads AKA a treadmill pad to go underneath and it works great. The hum of the motor is actually kind of soothing. We were concerned how loud it may be. Def a great investment to just get in more steps!!

As always bringing in the best content ❤ the only thing I would say it the shorter ones give your head to go down at an angle which is bad for your posture. The minute you switch to the longer pad you are looking up more which is better. On that note I am sure it will help a lot of busy working people get more steps in which is brilliant. When I ran I always hated the treadmill as nothing beats that outdoor experience, I would prefer to work to the shops and walk anywhere nearby to get my steps in. It’s horses for courses just because I hate the things doesn’t mean they don’t have value. I am looking at Helen Hill at the moment so looking into this posture thing with minimal shoes which may reflect my comments today.
Love your channel and it’s great to not agree with everything right?

I use it in my entryway, within arms reach of a wall, so that if I feel like I misstep or something, I can just reach out and touch the wall. I can read on my Kindle while I walk, as long as I stay focused on the screen and hold it down in front of me. The remote is on a cord you can put around your wrist, which is handy.

Hi Charlene. I finally bought a walking pad in October b/c I WFH. The bar is a must, I think. I did not get a pad with one since I primarily used it while I worked, but now, I'm on medical leave, not using it at my desk, and it's such a difference. You are correct about spatial awareness, but I've noticed that I am constantly looking down and making sure that I'm aligned so I don't lose balance. So it makes me look a lil uncomfortable to move faster on it, and I usually start slowly abs work up my speed once I feel balanced. Thanks for the info

I got rid of my monster treadmill (took up so much space) because I hardly ever used it. I got into the habit of walking my dogs several miles a day & figured I didn’t need it anymore. A few months later I actually missed the ability to walk indoors. I ended up getting a YGZ walking pad (goes up to 4 MPH) for a little over $200 & I love it. I just store it under my bed when I’m not using it. It doesn’t have a bar to hold onto, so I watch a movie or tv show when I use it & make sure not to look around because it will throw you off balance. I agree these walking pads are probably made in the same or similar factories that slap a different name on each of them.

I have found that just walking a circuit inside my house works best for me…and I do not have a big house. Every treadmill/walking pad I have tried hurts my back. I listen to a book on tape or TH-cam videos while walking. Of course I like walking outside when the weather is good. 😊

Subscribed and thank you. I've been looking at these and wondering how good they were. I can't afford a treadmill, don't have room for one anyway and really don't need all the whistles and bells. I walk my dog 30 to 40 minutes every day but she's older and doesn't always want to go as far or as fast. My other problem is winter. We get a lot of snow so sometimes walking every day is difficult. Thank you for doing this review. I think a walking pad is just what I need. I also subscribed because you mentioned weight training. I'm over 70 and want to keep what muscles I have and hopefully gain more so I'll be checking out those videos too. Thanks again.

One thing that wasn't mentioned is how comfortable are they? like any shock absorbing capabilities? I will upgrade, I chose the Ureveo Strol 1 pro... it's a bit pricey but it inclines and it states it is 42.5"x17" on the walking space... and it has a 2 year warranty and lifetime customer service. I'll let u know how it is if you'd like??

Twice I’ve tried a walking pad without a rail. I’m not old. You have to really focus to walk for more than 10/20m. Good idea to put it under a walking desk without a rail. Putting one outside? Might as well just go for an actual walk outside and get some inclines in too.

Glad you added the links, very helpful! Leaning toward the Deer Run one. Need something solely for under desk, so the bar on the others would get in the way. My space is small, and so am I (no worries on a long stride).
Netflix and chill is a date, lol... not a solo activity.
